love averett's play calling - mc blitzes up the middle expecting au to run the ball and run the clock down and they hit a screen for about 25 yards and they're throwing on the next play...very aggressive!

the flip side of that aggressive play calling is that au threw incomplete on every play that drive, leaving a lot of time on the clock - monarchs get the ball at the 20 with 8:32 left and a chance to take the lead

hill fumbles on the au 30...just can't stand success - 7:30 left - defense needs to step up and give the offense another shot - hill has 140+ yards but 2 fumbles today

au first and goal inside the 5 - parsons has had a great day...he's really stepped up and played well - big run on 2nd down to set up 3rd and short - false start negates a fumbled snap that the monarchs recovered...tough luck today for mc as that has happened 2 times in the 4th quarter - averett STILL throwing with under 5 minutes left and time to milk some clock...interesting  because 3 incomplete passes leaves time for mc - i'm all for aggressive play calling, but if there was ever a time to run, this was it - au SHOULD attempt a fg, but going for it on 4th and goal from the 9

au interception returned for a td, but there is a flag...interference and first down mc...maybe luck is turning a bit
