CNU63, that sounds like one helluva weekend. That's the way my dad, brother and I did the UMHB game last year. The Cowboys happened to have a Sun night game. I know a girl in knoxville, so I would be down for going even if I didnt make all 3 games. Where are the Titans and Vols in relationship to Maryville?

the vols are in knoxville which is only about 30 mins away and the titans are in nashville which is about 3 hrs if i can remember

Hey, cnu63. In a nutshell, Karma is an indication of what other readers think of your posts. If an individual likes what you wrote (or how you wrote it), he/she may give you an "applaud" (+1). If an individual doesn't like what you wrote (or how you wrote it), he/she may give you a "smite" (-1). To prevent someone from going overboard, you can't applaud/smite the same person more than once in a 24-hour period. The applaud/smite portion doesn't appear on your screen because you have less than the required 200 posts ... so right now, you're a bit at the mercy of others. When you reach 200, it'll appear without you having to do anything. As so many others have correctly said, just keep posting and don't worry about it. Welcome aboard and an applaud for you! Peace

Here are my picks...

CNU - why... b/c they are CNU
Greensboro - I fliped a coin and BYE lost, but it could swing either way... Greensboro barely eeks out a win against a tough BYE opponent
Maryville - If their offense can move the ball I think they will be ok. Conference's #1 Defense (MVC) and #2 Defense (NCW) makes it a good defensive struggle. Low scoring game.
Ferrum - Running attack too much for Averett
E&H - The woes continue for Methodist this week again.

For those that are interested SU put on its web site today that all future home games will be shown live on the internet. Now if you are not able to drive up to Winchester in the future you can still watch the game. Averett has to find the win column sooner or later and this looks like a good weekend to do it. They just need to learn how to tackle, run complete pass paterns, catch footballs, block, and play 4 complete quarters of hard nose football.

SUPER!! Thanks for the info. Now I can stay home this weekend and fill out college apps with my daughter and still see the game.
