In the past GC had pretty pictures and blueprints and that was all. This is an official college wide Capital Campaign. Funds have already been raised and are clearly waiting for a little more funding and naming rights (sponsor) for an on campus stadium.  The task will be a three phase project.

D3 scoreboard says CNU up 14-0 at the half

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

38-14 final  CNU over Methodist. It was a solid performance today, pretty much dominated the entire game.  Methodist's only bright spots were came in the passing game and most were late in the game against the 2nd string. Tunde had something like 254 yards rushing setting a new CNU single game rushing record. He also had a 50 yarder called back. The man is a beast. 942 on the season so far with 3 games left.

I thought CNU played very inconsistently. The first half was terrible. 7 points on offense against the Methodist D? Give me a break. In the second half the offense seemed to play better with #5 at QB. Not sure why. It just seemed that the team clicked better. Of course, that could just be me and the game film will show I don't know what I'm talking about. CNU's D is great up front and at LB. The D backs need more experience....or some serious help. All of them are Fr or So. They were picked apart. You can overcome that in onference play. It will spell a first round disaster of they are fortunate enough to make playoffs.

A win is a win and I know the score was 38-14. But there were too many things that concern me as a diehard fan. We can't throw and we can't stop the throw. #6 for MU destroyed the CNU D.

Next week is going to be tough. Maybe I'll drive down to see the game.

sorry, but the stats just don't bear that statement out...mu got 107 of 351 passing yards after going down 31-14 (i can't imagine that cnu was playing largely 2nd stringers in a 24-14 game with 15:00 left on the clock)...that's hardly "most" and it's not even 1/3...

while i won't dispute the dominance of the cnu running game, looking at the box score it appears that this game was closer than anticipated for all but the last quarter, and could have been even closer if not for some mu miscues...going 1-5 in the red zone with two missed fg's and two interceptions deep in cnu territory (one in the end zone and the other on the cnu 2 yard line) won't allow a team to get an upset on the road

I think the reality is that in the CNU defensive backfield there is no clear first or second string. The roster is filled with Sophomores who didn't play much, if at all, last year and a bunch of Freshmen. I saw some talent back there, but they just need to keep playing and gain some experience. I think the "second string" guys were afraid to play tight and give up the big play. Once they started playing up close, the MU QB wasn't as sharp. I wouldn't be surprised if the starting line up was a little different next week for CNU.

Tunde Ogun was a beast again. And Fr Legister is even "beastier". Ogun ran for 254 yds. Then in the 4th CNU brings in Legister and he gets 72 yds on 10 carries....he's a big guy to bring down at 235 lbs.

The MU defense will wake up tomorrow and feel like they were in one heck of an auto accident!

CNU85

Ok....you can tell I'm bored. After 2am and I'm updating the d3 rushing per game stats. Tunde Ogun was 15th before today's game. He has moved up to #10 with 157 yds per game. When I was looking up the stats for each player I noticed a trend. All of the top 10 except CNU's Ogun are from "cold weather" schools. Most in the Northeast (MIT, Fitchburg, Maine Maritime, etc). 2 are from Iowa and of course that Mt Union guy.

Once again - totally useless info......just something I noticed.

I just looked at the box score from GC AU.

???

I saw the one pick for a td by AU but it looked GC dominated them???

Anybody see the game?
