That's a high five hasanova. Tunde is a great player and we feel fortunate that we gave up only 225 by Tunde because the next 4 weeks he racked up more yards against the next 4 opponents. All I am saying that I hope bask1804 does not become Tunde's agent. He could lose alot of money......

Yikes, the new guy hasn't even gotten his feet wet, and the sharks are already nipping at his toes. Tough crowd (and narch didn't even post yet)!

GREAT NEWS FOR CNU!!!!

This guy just completed a High School career coaching the Phoebus Phantoms to a #2 NATIONAL ranking per Rivals.com and a AAA Division 5 State Championship - 4 out of last 8 years State Champs. He has more than a handful of seniors going D1 this year including QB Tahj Boyd who is narrowing his choices to Ohio State, Clemson, Oregon. VT fans remember the Adibi brothers? Phoebus products

Nice pick up for cnu. One of my buddies played them the last phoebus the last few yrs in the playoffs. I think each team that won the game went on to win the state title. Def going to be tough switching from head coach to assistant but that is pretty awesome that he is doing it.

Good thing your buddy didn't play Phoebus this past year. 720 total point scored. Gave up 53. Their Defense scored more than their opponents. Average margin of victory was about 45 points. Personally, I don't like Phoebus since I'm a Bethel guy. But we all hate the Hampton Crabbers.

But heylike I said earlier...Coach Dee is a Captain now.....so now I like him!!

They did and they were good. His HS is stonebridge va. And they are pretty nasty as well. I think they had 4 dlineman go d1 this past year. I guess that is a credit to how good phoebus is. One of my college teamates played their with r curry at phoebus. I wonder if that is going to help cnu pull in more talent??Damn, this was an awful pickup for everyone else in this conf.

Oh yea...Stone Bridge. That was the state semi final game. They have a really good team. Phoebus just demolished them 38-8. The Phoebus team was just unreal this year. It wasn't fair to most teams they faced. I'm hoping Coach Dee's reputation pulls in a few guys. I think the biggest areas of impact with Dee will be recruiting, winning attitude, and defensive mindset!

If y'all thought CNU's D was good in year's past...give Dee a couple of years!

[]Also traditionally the Blue Ridge Folklife Festival is the last Saturday in October on the Ferrum Campus. It attracts thousands from all over. Unless that is changed, and I doubt that it will be, I would start trying to make your motel reservations now. There are not that many motels in that area.

The good news is that the Folklife Festival is the preceeding weekend. It may help on the motel accomodations

I don't think Wesley will release their schedule til May...because of the uncertainty of who thye are playing..

Not sure exactly. My guess is that the game is at Wesley and that it would be the first Saturday after Labor Day. When I get a schedule I'll post it here for everyone to see.
