Very nice.  Looks like methodist is trying to close that facility gap.  Should def help with recruiting.  GC should take note of that.

It's always nice to be able to provide quality facilities to young student-athletes. These kids have worked their tails off to play college ball. It's good to hear they're going to have something they will be proud of.

It would be nice to be able to replace the "tin gym" with the new facility, and still keep the old locker rooms for something else football related. Maybe meeting rooms or something of that nature.

Nope, my playing days are done. Chased that dream as long as I could. Just teaching at WOHS, and coaching. What you up to these days? I see abnrgr is still around and creating trouble!

I remember when I decided not to play anymore.  my last college game.  couldnt get any better than that.

Couldnt stick for longer than a week with any Arena one teams, then an acl tear, that was enough for me! Back to important topics...Papi, you seen the new buildings at OL MC (now MU of course)? Place is really upgrading, should help bring in alot more students. I have an OLineman that I am trying to sway that way.

i'm having a hard time envisioning it from the architectural renderings, but it's going to connect the current locker room and the existing (unused) boiler room (which is the right side of the maintenance building if you're looking at that facility from the field) - at 8,600+ sf, it's a pretty nice sized facility, and apparently the firm that is building it has really gotten pumped up about proving they can incorporate two existing facilities and create a new and better end product...it will be interesting to see this evolve - i think it will clearly help recruiting and retention, which i think will ultimately make the monarchs better on the field

Sounds like a plan to me. I did not make it up to a game this year, first time I have not seen a Monarch game going back to 2001. The place as really made some upgrades from our time there. I would love to see some visitors stands on the other side.

nothing planned yet for the summer, but you know if i get down that way, i'll hit you up

if you and jbyrd get up for a game this fall, we'll have to make a postgame run down to the husk

they've started cleaning out the old boiler room already...the old locker room will be torn up soon...it's kinda hard to believe the monarchs will actually have a real locker facility
