FB: USA South Athletic Conference

So with all of this talk of new facilities, I wonder how the folks on this board rate the facilities in the USA South? Besides Ferrum, I have only been to CNU, and Shenandoah, but I think they are both pretty nice. Lots of you guys have been to, or played at all of them, so I just wonder how you rate them 1 best, to 8 worst.

I dont know what to suggest for criteria, but Field, Locker rooms, stands, concession, and restrooms come to mind. Someone go ahead and take the idea and refine it, and set up a poll we can vote on.

From a players point of view.

1. su-upgraded since i played-use to be worst from thick grass to turf and field house close to field
2. cnu-small female lockers we used were a decent walk to the field
3. ferrum- locker rooms miles away but very nice playing surface
4. methodist- locker rooms? field with thicker grass in nice shape
5. Gboro--HS Locker room--field surface overplayed.
6. Nc Wes hs locker room in the country, overplayed
7. au-field house for themselves on field level-they put the visitors up in the main gym? field not good
8. Maryville? Didnt play them way back when. (prob top 3 from film i have seen)

Very Nice, That is the difference between Greensboro and Ferrum. Ferrum knows that by bringing in alot of football players they are brining alot more money to the school. Greensboro College just seems content to do sit back and wonder why they cant get 130 kids in camp.

1. CNU - Div. 1-AA type stadium. Only drawback is walk from locker rooms for home and away teams.
2. MARYVILLE-Obviously I'm biased, but a great atmosphere for college football. Small locker rooms for visitors. Very good turf on field.
3. SHENANDOAH-Great improvements in field and stadium. Could edge Maryville because of better locker room facilities for visitors.
4. FERRUM-Much improvement in the field and good atmosphere. Big drawback is walk from locker rooms to stadium.
5. METHODIST-No stands behind the visitors bench is a big minus. Small visiting locker rooms. Made good field improvements this past year.
6. NC WESLEYAN-High School stadium. Need to get your own field.
7. GREENSBORO-High School stadium. Ranks below NCW because they play night games so their 200 fans can come and watch the Pride play.
8. AVERETT-Terrible field. Long walk to visitors locker room. In fact, MC stays on the soccer field so they don't have to make the 1/4 mile walk to fieldhouse. Visitors stands look like stands you see at 8-10 year old youth football games.

Im starting to not like m villes fans.

You should mention how yall can drink tenn whiskey in your endzone and the use of racial slurs is somewhat ok???

whatever... get over yourself, or maybe think of something else to say everytime you don't like what I say. Oh and I hear if your biology teacher doesn't work out as the head coach your English professor is available. Maybe you and the other 199 people that are there might be able to throw a little money together to donate to upgrade from the high school field. Or even better, if yall might drink some of that Tennessee Whiskey, you will be seeing double so you can say 400 fans showed up! Then you could actually say you NEED to upgrade from the high school field.
