Thanks WFU34 and AUPOP. This old disabled vets Arthritis is acting up, so I don't think I will be able to make it.

Bishop, any of that arthritis earned at Bragg?

I almost forgot to put my thanks in to the Vets on this board.  Thanks to my dad, all of my CNU Captains' teammates who have served and continue to serve, and everybody on this board who has served.  Thanks to all USA South alum who served.  There was a great article a few weeks back on a Greensboro RB who served.  Your service was/is greatly appreciated and may God bless.  Thank you all and Happy Veteran's Day.

May God Bless all that have served or are currently serving to keep us free. A special Thank You to my Dad for all that he had to endure while actively serving in the Marine Corp.

I wonder if Averett has thanked Maryville yet for the early Christmas gift they gave the Cougars by defeating CNU on Saturday.  The MC win over CNU  prevents a 3 way tie if Averett defeated NCW and leaving it to the polls to decide who goes to the playoffs.

Now it's going to be settled on the field just like it should be.  Good luck to both teams....

Anyone know how AU's field holds water? If it is raining there like it is here, could be a messy day!

Boat races start at noon today....

Although I have never been there, If I recall from previous posts, it can get right messy. May not drain particularly well. Then again, would not all the natural fields be a mess after this? AUPOP you probably know better than anyone.

Maryville's efforts were noted last week when they beat CNU.  Their effort was greatly appreciated.  Trust it will be a good game Saturday.

It will be like playing in a Pig Pen after a month of rain. Hopefully they have kept it covered. However it still gets flooded from the water coming down the hill  on both sides and on endzone.

On a serious note, I hope everyone has been able to stay dry and safe these past two days. Appears we have one more day to endure this mess. Someone in Virginia Beach reported snow about 1/2 hour ago. All bridges and tunnels are closed. Getting to Danville may be a challange for those traveling from 95 and 85 up 58. I also heard the Dan River is going to break it's flood record this afternoon. That thing runs about 4 blocks from the main campus. Good thing is that the campus is up hill from the river and it would have to flood a ton to reach anything.
