Got a question from anyone at the CNU/Methodist game.

Methodist was at MC for a basketball game and several people from Methodist said there was a confrontation between some CNU players and the referees after the game.  I was just wondering if there was any truth to this or not.  The words they used was there was a fight between them.  I can't believe there was an actual fight, but just was wondering if anyone may have heard if anything happened.

Congrads to NCWC for taking the conference this year.  Good luck in the playoffs!!!  We'll be cheering y'all on!

To AUPOP, CNU85, Narch, and the rest of you guys. Yes, My Bishops have won, but in so many ways, we have all won. This conference will be stronger. CNU will continue to be the team everyone strives to compete.   Maryville will continue to field strong teams, Methodist has proven they are a team to reckon with next year. Greensboro has definitely proven they are improving. AU and Ferrum will continue to be strong. Yes, my Bishops won the conference title and I hope they represent the conference well. However, Let us all remember it is a game for us to complain, exhibits happiness, and criticize occasionally. But for the young men, who play, it creates memories they will always have and cherish. God Bless you all and I sincerely wish the best to all and with a little help, maybe we will be back for another year. Let us not forget to thank the young men and women, Past and present, who keep us safe so we can have the opportunity to visit this board and let our voices be heard! But for now, Go Bishops !Represent the conference in a positive manner! :)

+1 Karma ;)

I am not sure if there was a fight or not but i dont see why there would be. I will admit that at the end of the game there were some calls that were questionable and others that were not made but the officials missed calls for both teams. The game was a great game to watch but you could tell CNU was not happy about how they were playing. Their offense could not really get going like it normally does and MU defense kept answering for the first time this season. The team looked like they played very well and with the most heart i have seen all season. As the game went on particularly in the fourth quarter the two teams started to let their emotions get the best of them. It was no where near as bad as the greensboro ending though. There were only a few players on both sides that lost their cool though and that goes out and says alot about the players. There were quite a few coaching mistakes on both sides but neither team could really get anything going and capitalize on mistakes. watching tunde for the last time was very exciting and im happy he had a successfull career at CNU and all the best of luck for him in the future. the CNU team will be very good next year with number 7. i have seen him play earlier this year and if he matures this spring he will be a great player. another thing to add to the CNU MU game was he did not play a single down.

Congrats to all the seniors on the Methodist team and all the other teams in the conference. Now its time to get the degree. Congrats to NCW for winning conference(dominating) and good luck in the playoffs. Now the off season begins and the returning players get their chance to have a direct impact on the following year by how hard they work in the off season. hopefully methodist changes their off season lifting and conditioning or they will be fielding a small team again.

KEEPING IT REAL

CNU has a long way to go to get back to the top.  The offensive line had no fight in them.  Getting pushed back by the defense on every play.  They need to hit the weight room hard over the summer or recruit bigger and meaner lineman.  The defense needs alot of work.  A base 4-3 on 3rd downs does not work.  CNU were terrible on third down.  They gave up to many 3rd and 15 or longer.  No 40 is a big back.  Hope they don't overload him next year.  I have been to every game, home or away and was just as frustrated as everyone else in the stands.  To get better you must work harder.  I hope that is what the team does this summer.  Congrats to Tunde Ogun for a great 3 years. Also congrats on being selected to the East Coast Bowl.  Now you play against the top D1 and D2 players in the nation. Good luck next year CNU. Thanks for everything.

Congratulations to the Greensboro Pride.  Best season in program history!  Didn't see it coming.

That qb will be rookie of the year for sure.
Offensive Cordinator should be coach of the year.

Finally CNU has fallen and the Pride are on the rise!

Great Season.

It's easy to take for granted the freedoms you enjoy everyday when you've never had to sacrifice anything for it!  Remember today to thank those Veterans who's sacrifices have made it possible for us to enjoy the freedoms we do everyday!

Nicely put Papi. Some of you may have noticed I haven't been posting much this year. My dad, a vet, had been ill, battling cancer for the past 2 years. He passed away the day before the CNU/Maryville game - probably why I hated the game. He was buried in a veteran cemetery in Suffolk VA the day before Vets day. His grave marker will have Merchant Marines WWII, Korean war combat vet, and Vietnam Era Vet markers on it. He lied about his age to get into the Merchant Marines during WWII. He served in Germany during the Berlin Airlift and fought on the ground in Korea. God Bless you Dad!!

85,

Sorry to hear about your loss. You have a lot of great memorys to hold on to. Forget about this season, there will be more to come and we all know they will be better.

i think CNU will have no problem moving the ball next year. with both qb 12 and 7 returning and big number 40 coming back all they lack is that offensive line. they are a relatively young team with lots of talent. all it will take is hard work in the weight room and on the practice field this spring and they will be back to their normal self. and after looking at their roster it has legister listed as a LB. is that true? did he switch over this season??

is matt long returning for one more year or is he choosing to leave after normal graduation for him?

Congrats to NCWC for an outstanding year and good luck in the playoff's.

Congrats to all the seniors on all the teams. You have something you can cherish and tell your grand children about in years to come. It may not be about wins or loses, but just the plain simple fact that you played NCAA college football and you were a member of a team in which you made great friends with and you experienced something not every young man gets to experience. Good luck in your future and may God bless and guide you.

To all the posters on this board, it has been fun chating, and/or just reading. We may not agree on everything being said on these boards but one thing we can agree on is we all love the game.

I will figure up the final PickEms stats and post them shortly. While I didn't expect to do it this year, it wasn't that hard. But I think it's time for some of the young blood to take it next year.

Mosh on the rise huh? Last I checked we still beat the Pride. lol just had to ruin your moment.

Current CNU players let the fact that YOU ARE THAT TEAM that finished without a winning record make you work harder than you ever have during the off season. I still love my team but I'm still extremely pissed.

Congrats NCW good luck in the playoffs.

He will be returning and graduate next fall.  It remains to be seen what position he will play next year.

54,

14-7 is a win in my book.

Well in that case, congrats on the win.
