FB: USA South Athletic Conference

I enjoyed watching Kyle Chewning from Maryville and the three players from Greensboro at the D3 Senior Classic. I would have liked to see some more USA South talent. All four players excelled. I posted a video of the event at: http://www.youtube.com/user/ScotsBroadcasting

This is a great experience for our D3 athletes and I hope it takes off in the future.

Report in the Winchester VA Star (subscription required)

Shenandoah has decided not to seek Football affiliation in the ODAC.

The ODAC would not accept them as a full member.

SU could not find a satisfactory home in another conference. (CSAC? Capital AC?, MAC? just conjecture, but those are the ones that are close.)

So, they will stay in the USA South.

This probably leaves the GSAC hanging on its own.

Hey I am a huge Ferrum Fan, but living in Williamsburg, W&M gives the Panthers stiff competition as my favorite. Wish they could have won.
