So Am I correct that CNU is technically in first place in the conference if you look at the tie breaker?

All right CNU fans, You guys beat us fair and square....but I've got to pull for Maryville! We can't play  another game like CNU's. We have to win the rest of them and hope that Maryville helps us out.. Go Bishops and Maryville!

Should be a good game at Honaker Field against CNU.  Both teams seem to matchup well.   MC needs to have their offense productive from the very beginning.  I know who NCW is pulling for since this may be CNU's last serious challenge toward the conference title......

So is Averett.  If Maryville is going to win a game - make it this weekend (that's the least they can do for making Maryville look so go a couple of weeks ago in Danville).

CNU up 21-0 over Maryville. Looking nice on the internet feed.
'02, '03, '04, '06...    4 years, 4 championships...

I just watched almost all of the Ferrum @ Averett game, and Ferrum looked really strong....on both sides of the ball. This was the consistent team effort I had been expecting, and it finally happened today! Although Averett had a lot of yards through the air, Ferrum still held them to 13 points.
Unfortunately, Ferrum will not contend for the conference championship, as CNU won their game against Maryville.

CNU wins 42-10.

nom nom nom......the sound of me eating crow with this fork i took out a few weeks ago when I thought CNU was done. Wow! The team has really pulled together. Looking forward to next weekend!

cnu85, looks like you might get an extra game if cnu wins the conference.  must be a pleasant surprise for all the cnu fans.  has the team improved that much or is the usa south down this year?  the south will be real interesting as there seems to be no one near texas so umhb and hardin simmons will likely play each other in the first round which would be a shame as they are clearly 2 of the 3 best teams in the south.  good luck next week.

CNU85

W'Dad.....to answer your question....I think it is both. When Long went out, and after losing to AU, the team could have packed it in or pull it together. They decided to pull it together. The So QB had 4 TDs in first half today!. A win next week means CNU goes to NCAA playoffs. Hope we don't see you again! (nothing personal!).

just asked ralph some questions about who gets in and how things shake out on the south region playoff  thread.  based on who is getting in i figure wesley will play either cnu or muhlenburg.  muhlenburg looks better on paper, so i think you may be making a trip to dover in a couple of weeks.

CNU may be making a road trip....but not me....I'm a bad luck charm for CNU road games (I think 2-4).....in their history they have given up 50 points in 3 games.....2 of them were road games I went to.....one on my birthday this year - at Salisbury. The other was UMHB. I'm staying home after next week, should they win. Still have to take care of business next week.
