You tranlate good. I spoke enough during my 5 years running across Europe to get in trouble and get chicks to feel sorry for me. (when I was a LT)

One thing about the Germans. If you walk in like a jerk and start speaking english, they will scrug. You just insulted them. But if you walk in and try German and it is broken they stop you and say "can I help you" with a smile.

Of course I dig Italiana bambinas or Raggazi. I  do miss Sicily. Sardinia was not too bad either

Just two cents on CNU from The Daily Times.

Nice piece. I too am wondering how the conference will fare when CNU is gone. Who will everyone hate now?

that's a challenging slate of non-conference games...i wonder if cnu will continue to schedule that type of non-conference competition when they are in a pool b conference?

Good point. Two things to ponder. First, CNU will remain in USA South for a few years. I think that is probably an indication that the CAC is looking at becoming a football conference. Second, knowing Kelchner, he will continue to schedule the best he can. He once told me that at the D3 level when the players have to pay to go to school, he feels he owes it to the paying players to schedule the best teams he can. I agree. If someone is paying to go to school and is playing on your team, you are cheating them if you schedule your season with programs who are not very successful or committed. Just my thoughts.

In Pool B, once you have a head-to-head result against the competition, you have made a case that looks like the "conference" championship.

Huntingdon and Wesley especially...

Former Maryville HC Tony Ierulli has joined the coaching staff at Carson-Newman College coaching outside linebackers.

Carson-Newman was a national champ a time or two in their NAIA days - usually fair pretty well in DII as well.  I suspect they get some transfers from UT who are trying to resurrect their career after an injury or realizing they were #3 on the depth chart in Knoxville.

KIR,

You finally hit a homerun on a post.  Great interview by Tunde.  Hope everyone gets a chance to watch it.  Outstanding personality.  Hope he has a great year in Europe.......
