Ferrum and NCWC are tied at 14 after one.  Neither team is doing much on defense so far. 

Short kick helps Ferrum, NCWC defense is pretty clueless and Panthers now up 21-14 with 12:38 left in the half.   Total yards so far FC 188-NCWC 151.

Ferrum defense makes a stop, takes only a few plays to score on a long pass.  9:05 left in the first half, FC is up 28-14.

Averett recovered the fumbled kickoff on the CNU 2 yd line and the Averett FB scores on the the first play but fumbles in the endzone. However Averett recovers for the TD.

Terry Ford rips a pass out of a NCWC receiver's hands and takes it 50+ yards to score.  FC rolling now, up 35-14 with 6:18 left in the half. 

NCWC drives, goes for it on fourth-and-goal from the four and score.  3:14 left, FC still up 35-21.

CNU first and goal on the 2 yd line after a defensive pass interference call against the Cougars. Roland Hilliard scores from the 2 and Jones to Kihn for the 2 pt conversion.

WOW, Ferrum is for real  . I will be the first CNU fan to say that I think we have a very tough game ahead of us. I think CNU should be very worried about the Panthers. I hate to admit it but CNU looks more and more average every weekend. It also sounds like Averett is a better program than the last couple of years.

The Captains did not convert a single 3rd down in the first half. There is one bright spot. Rolland Hilliard had 83 yards and a TD in the first half.
