I just read the article. It stated the school wasn't going to build a football stadium there?? Whats the point then? GC loves to buy antiquated buildings (like the old ymca) and price in da hood and do little with them. The people that are protesting are the same exact people that left the forties on the field or the gangbangers that where always getting pulled over by the police.

they should flip a coin to see if gc can use price. sounds about right.

I've been out of the loop with pride athletics. The hiring of Randy Hunt and Jimmy Teague sounds great on paper.

I hope there is a little more balance out there next year. As much as I enjoy watching the spread offense at work. There is a time and place whenthat offense just won't work. Maybe when a Nor'easter is blowing through, I could be wrong though.

I wish. Maybe we could use that money to buy a stadium on the school grounds for football and not the other lame sports we endorse.

have you heard the latest on the sports park and how they are going to work things when it happens. The way that I heard it is that they are going to turn Pride Field into the football field when the park is built. (WHENEVER THAT WILL BE......LOL)

Yeah thats what I assumed they would try to do. Im sure the people in the area will love that idea. Im sure somebody will oppose it and try to stop it. If the schools administration folds to pressure to not putting a football field over at price im sure you can just imagine what they will get near the school campus.

That is a parking nightmare if that happens and im sure the funds to build a parking deck are not in the plans.

I always thought that G-Boro played great football at night in the huge stadium. I liked the atmosphere. I guess that Vulcan was right "the only constant is change".

I know somebody come with some money and will stand up one day.

When I hit the lotto Lees-McRae will get football back and I wil be head coach, Mosh the D Coord, and Papi will keep beer in the cooler for Sunday film break down and, Narch will be my SIO.

. That got to take me back.....a legacy and I will have the $$.
