fighting scot, i think the only category that is going to be correct in your last post is the amount owed. Im willing to be the fb teams gpa, act, and retention rate is going to be much different than the schools overall grades.

I agree. The freshmen stats are the schools overall freshman class not just football. Could be higher or lower than what is reported.

Yes it is John Handley High School. I don't know about the renovation though.

Probably nothing...

I was scannning the Winchester News and saw the pictures of the renovation.

I was amazed at the size of the building with the stairs leading down to the field...kinda like something out of Ben Hur or Quo Vadis.

Yes! This is a real win for both conferences. This even gives some latitude to the "new USAC/GSAC" in case CNU gets an invite from the Capital AC.

I did not see a way to get to Mr James, but please let him know that it takes 7 teams to get the AQ!

I believe that the affiliation/merger gives the USA South some leeway in the case that CNU gets invited to the Capital AC.

I believe that the Capital AC wants football. They can get the AQ this way.

Salisbury
Wesley
Gallaudet (currently in the North Atlantic Conference in football)
Stevenson (currently looking at adding football)

That gives you 4 core members necessary for a conference to sponsor a sport.

Shenandoah is up for grabs. The ODAC has said that they do not want them, and Shenandoah has said it wants out of the USA South.

Frostburg State (MD) is the only football-playing member of the non-football Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.

CNU is the only state school in the USA South. (The Capital AC has these public schools: Salisbury, Galluadet, St Mary's MD, Mary Washington.) CNU is closer to almost everyone else in the Capital AC than its closest foe in the USA South.

If there were the chance to have football in the Capital AC, then those other 3 schools might join the Capital AC.
