You are right about your brother CNUALUM9, he had an outstanding sophomore year at DB.  I know he played well against the Fighting Scots 2 years ago at your place.  Hope he gets well soon....  I think the chase for the conference crown is wide open right now.  No team seems to be very strong at this point of the season.

We will be able to find out what kind of team MC has when we line up against Methodist on Saturday.  We are playing alot of young players.  Opened with a loss against 3-1 Huntingdon, loss against a 4-0 Centre (ranked #33) by 7, and beat LaGrange on the road who went to the 2008 playoffs & returned 19 starters from the playoff team.

Really hate to see Emory & Henry go 4-0 against the USA-South.   E&H won't play Maryville in any sports, men or women.

I hate the Emory and Henry had such success too.  The only consolation is that it took a score in the last minute in two of the games for E&H to pull out a win.

So is there a conclusion to be drawn that Ferrum, E&H, and NCW, and fairly equal? If so. then the Ferrum @ NCW game should be close? I am obviously a die hard Panther fan, but have to say that I see NCW winning...maybe not that close at all....I hope I am wrong.

Can someone post the address to the Stadium that NCW plays at? I will be making the trip, but understand they do not play on campus. Address will be a help for my GPS.

Thanks!

If you go to the NCWC Website and look under facilities you will find directions to the Northern Nash High School Stadium. (known around these parts as "Death Valley)

I know they played at Northern Nash last year, but previous years they played at a city owned complex. They went to Northern Nash last year because the city owned stadium's field got messed up from a bad storm and they were going to have to resod the entire field. They may be back at that complex, don't know for sure. But as mentioned it should be on their website.

They absolutely play there. May be playing there for a while. They liked the closeness of the stadium better than the Rocky Mount Athletic Complex so they decided to remain there for a while. (At least for this year)

I get turned around everytime I go to Rocky Mount and haven't had the pleasue of seeing the campus. Where exactly is the campus and do they have any fields at all on campus? Any plans to build a stadium on campus? A friend's son went there and played baseball and they said the campus was very nice.

The address for the NNFC is 4230 Green Hills Road, Rocky Mount, NC

Bishop64

The Campus is located on wesleyan Blvd (Old 301Hwy North of Rocky Mount. If you are coming down I 95 get off at the Gold Rock Exit and follow that straight in. The Campus will be on your right about 5 miles from the exit. Yes, they have a nice Baseball field, Soccer field and Ladies SoftBall Field. The Football practive field is next to the Ladies Softball Field. You have to turn into the campus and follow the road all the way around to see the field. They are located on the back side of the field.

Money is the reason they have no field at this point. They have plenty of room for the Stadium. They would like a stadium as soon as possible. If you are not coming down I 95 let me know which direction you will be coming from and I will instruct you how to get there.
