(17) LaGrange (20) Maryville
(20) Southern VA (17) Ferrum
(31) CNU (33) Frostburg
(14) SU (42) Randolph Macon
(7) Greensboro (9) Apprentice School
(9) Guilford (45) Averett

Probably the biggest surprises of the day was Southern VA knocking off Ferrum and Apprentice School downing Greensboro.

Was looking forward to see how SU's offense would go while being at full-tilt with their premiere RB's of (Kyle and Roberts) and a very respectable QB in Wright but RMC's defense completely shutdown SU while allowing only 143yds of total offense (71) rushing and (72) passing.

What is going on with USA-South football that has just an overall record of (4-16)?

USA South Fan - What's wrong with the conference this year?  Can you say "ACC - lite"?  The geographic proximity to the ACC must be having a "trickle down" effect.

Hey D3football.com. The new web design page you have created looks great. The site needed a up-date for the new decade. Everything on the front page was very easy to find. Nice job once again.

I gave you some karma because I feel that pain for you. I would put $$ that Ferrum would win

Pat, home page does look pretty great.

Not much to say, CNU lost to a team that was 1-11 (last year and two games this year) in its last 12 games.

An old teammate and I were talking about the season so far and all the points the defense has given up, and I looked up these stats...

CNU defense has giving up 34, 58 and 33 points so far for a total of 125 through 3 games.

In 2003, CNU gave up 88 points in the ENTIRE REGULAR SEASON (9 games total), which included playing Rowan, Bridgewater and Mcdaniel out of conference.

Hopefully a few players on CNU's defense follows this board and takes notice.

Like I said a week or so ago - put Long back on D for his leadership and take one of those 7 QB's on the roster and tell them it's time to wear big boy pants and get the job done. It's so easy not being a coach!!

I would like to see where you wrote that last year.  Copy that quote for me and send it on.  I looked through all of last year and never saw it.

Narch, I fixed KIR's quote for you.

Pat Coleman

If Keeping it Real isn't man enough to live up to his bet then we don't need him posting anymore. :)

no need to ban KIR...i formally absolve him from his obligation to call me the man...it was a sucker bet anyway, as his opinion of tunde ogun was clouded by his affinity for his kin, which is understandable - having KIR around livens this board up when it needs it

Pat Coleman

I'm still waiting for him to tell us where he's playing. I looked around as he suggested this summer and struck out.

I heard a rumor Tunde has some opportunities in the CFL. BUt I didn't see him on any roster. Does the CFL have practice squads?
