many of yall Scots appear to still be stewing over the loss of yall's other coach, and by all accounts he was a pretty good hand.

Yall got a phenom replacement. He is a real real fine feller, AUsome Offensive coach, wide recievers coach, play caller, and recruiter. I hate to see him go, but he will do well. He was raised right down the rode from murrvile, around science hill, and played ball at east tenn (before they dropped the program)
I hope yall will throw in and rally around him.

He recruited my son 5+ yrs ago, and the 'boy' worked with Coach Rader as a GA after graduating last year.

Great hire, i pray he helps yall open up a 'whup butt can' on everybody yall play, except Huntingdon

I coach HS football in the Tampa Bay Area and yesterday our Head Coach received a Media Guide and note from Averett U. Football about them coming down to some recruiting fairs being held in FL this month.

We have a ton of talent that doesn't get to play football after HS because we don't have JC/CC or small college football in FL.  I think that Averett has been coming down for the past few years also.

Just information for the Boards during the offseason.

Christopher Newport will continue to participate as a full member of the USA South Athletic Conference through the 2012-13 academic year. Thereafter, Christopher Newport will remain as an affiliate member in football for the 2013, 2014 and 2015 seasons.

The affiliate status for football thru 2015 for CNU tells me that the earliest that the braintrust in the Capital thinks that it can add football schools for an AQ will be 2016.

As it stands, Salisbury and Frostburg State or in the E8. Wesley is slugging along as an independent.

Someone help me out. CNU moves to the CAC. No football in CAC yet. What regions are the other sports? I'm having a hard time figuring it out. And if the sports are in diff regions does it really matter? What about women's sports? I don't hear much about CAC women's teams.
