Hawks and DG, looking at the weather and it looks unfortunate for tomorrow in Montgomery. I'm still planning on going and would like to stop by and say hi again. Hopefully I'll get to see a win this year!

Yep, looking like a rainy day for the home opener but hopefully the heavy stuff will be gone by game time. Either way we plan to be there bright and early as usual, probably huddled under our canopy most of the morning trying to get the grill lit.
Hopefully it will be a good game and the weather won't cause any sloppy play.

E&H is for real. I have no idea why they don't get more recognition.
I went to the MC/E&H game and there was not a single second I wasn't scared they might go off and light up the scoreboard.

They'll probably get more recognition now!  Guilford plays them to end the regular season each year - yikes!

They're coming off several so-so years, and like most ODAC teams they usually find a way to lose focus and drop a game they shouldn't, but as hasanova said they should get some recognition now. It's pretty hard to ignore a (near) double monkey-stomp.

In the 4th quarter Ms Jayne asked "If we lose, will you still say it was a good game"...i looked at her and said "yep"

and it was , just like 3 yrs ago in Pineville........ 2 equally matched teams.

Huntingdon was just the last to score, like last time..

Halftime. CNU up 24-0. Morast gets hurt. Garner comes in. First pass was 83 yd td.  Second pass 53 yd td. Defense is stout. Only a few missed tackles. Almost had a pick 6. Second half should be fun.

Yep, good to see you guys today. We're finally getting dried out over here. Loved the two clutch drives in the 4th to come back and get the win. Could end up being a huge win as the season progresses.

CNU wins 34-6. Great game. Second largest crowd in history. Second only to last week. CNU called off the dogs in second half. Lots of players got in the game. Now a week off!

We should see you there. You likely won't find us at our normal tailgating spot before the game. It's my class' 25 year reunion so we are doing the alumni tailgate thing.
I think the guys will be really focused for the first conference game. If we can keep improving I think we will be okay.
Looks like the weather is supposed to be nice Saturday so that's good.
