I can see both sides of this.
How about we call it the Pinnacle Fan Award. If the CMA can give Taylor Swift a country pinnacle award, then we can give you a pinnacle award too.
Taylor Swift is more pop than Sun Drop. But that's another rant.

i was gonna go tomorrow, but my bride just rerminded me we have my Mom's 80th birthday party to go to in marietta.
My younger (and little sister) and younger (but not littler brother) changed the date to acomadate Church availibility for the party

I hope to get to be 80yrs of age (in 20 yrs for me) and hope i am in as good a shape as Mom.

anyway, im gonna miss the game. if you walk toward the evil murrrvul folk after the game is over, please tell Coach Rader and Phillip Bailey that I said hello. They both about as good as good can get.

If I make it anywhere near 80 it will be a miracle, 30+ years away and already having stuff replaced and all.
Hate that you will miss the game. I missed my first home game in 5 years last week so barring any major emergencies I'm not missing this one. I will try to touch base with our former Hawks on the other side.

It's rivalry week in DIII and with all this talk about Monon Bell and Game Ball trophies, I think it's high time MC and HC get a trophy for the game. We've played every year but yall's first, and seeing how most Tennesseans "don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama" (if you don't know what I mean youtube Peyton Manning locker room celebration at Alabama 1995), something needs to concrete this thing in the books.

MC is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church and HC is Methodist. I think we should find something that symbolizes bad blood (if any) between the PCUS and UMC and make it a trophy. Something unique.

How about a cannon? Was it '09 or '11, the game was at MC, don't remember which year, but near the end of the game someone from HC managed to get to MC's cannon and fire it. Though I'm sure a lot of people weren't too happy about it and probably wouldn't want a trophy in honor of the moment.

I think it may have been '09. But I like that idea. After the '11 season a lot of equipment was stolen out of the equipment room including the cannon.

I thought I read during the summer or early in the season that Coach Turk would self inflict a one game suspension in conjunction with vacated win. If that is the case, has he done that yet?
