in a somewhat ironic twist, that play trails a diving catch at midfield by an averett receiver in the usasac play of the week voting by over 100 votes, and i've voted for the morrast play 3 times - anyone who voted for any play other than the morrast td in that poll should be banned from ever voting on that poll again...ever

I have to give props when they are do. That was an amazing effort to give his team the win.

i'm not gonna lie...i thought morrast was a shoe-in for d3football.com team of the week, but the kid from gustavus had 7 td's vs. his 6 - i guess that extra td was just enough to put him over the top

i was also a little surprised that rudy rudolph was named to the team of the week...he wasn't even the best wr in the game - that would be patrick jacobs, who had 10 catches, 219 yards and 3 tds vs. rudy's 9, 214 and 1 - actually, both could have made the team of the week, in my book - perhaps the mu sid didn't nominate jacobs - if that's the case, that would be unfortunate

I was puzzled by that as well, I would think the circumstance would have made him a lock and since everyone was talking about how well he played...but hey he has a shot to continue this week and maybe and just maybe he can replicate that performance again against Ferrum, then we are potentially talking about Gagliardi Trophy finalist, especially if they win out.

let's pump the brakes a little on the gagliardi...while morrast is greatly improved and having a fantastic season, he's third in the conference in total yards per game behind craig and reber, and 22nd nationally (craig is 8th nationally, reber is 13th ) - remember, reber led the nation in yards per game last year and wasn't a finalist (he wasn't even first-team all-region)

Just read Mr. Tipps' ATN for the week. Very nice!!!

Okay, I'm curious, who thinks $20 for a chair back seat at a DIII football game is a little excessive?  I could have sworn they were $12 last year....

$6 at mu...$20 is pretty pricey

Pleasantly surprised at today's outcome defensively given the performance last week. Lots of young guys got some PT.
