The video stream cut out of me...what happened? Hit by defender, hit the ground funny...

Rudolph is a beast. 4 catches 167 yds. Longest reception only 47 yds.

On long pass to Rudolph he was hit as he released ball and landed on shoulder with defender on top. Left arm. Seemed ok on sideline. Moving arm. But they wrapped it. Maybe just a precaution.

Too funny! I'm home with broken foot. Radio announcers (and on video feed) just gave me a shutout for my research and football injury.

...morrast is back in game.

Okay, if CNU beats Maryville next week then CNU wins the conference outright so we'll be pulling for Maryville so we will still have some kind of hope.

narch

let's go maryville :)

if m'ville beat cnu to give them their 2nd conference loss, and mu gets by ferrum and huntingdon wins out, the mu/m'ville game will be for the conference championship - if m'ville wins, they are sole champions, if mu wins, they are co-champions, but should win the tie break based on a 2-1 record vs. m'ville, huntingdon and cnu...huntingdon would also be 2-1 in the round-robin (cnu and m'ville would be 1-2 in this scenario) and mu would win based on head-to-head vs. huntingdon...i think :)

either way, i'm rooting for m'ville, huntingdon and mu this weekend just in case i'm right :)

That's a lot of if's.  ;) But they have a chance and that's all one can ask for. I think the Scots are a very safe bet but Huntingdon is a wild card. Good luck bro. Get Papi go to those games. :D

Shocked by today's MU result...didn't expect that at all...didn't watch the game at all because the boy is at a lacrosse tourney (in the Danville area, ironically) but MU just didnt play their best and didn't get any of the breaks (every 50/50 chance went to au, from what I heard)...the monarchs need lots of help
I didn't see this one coming either.  Some games just go that way ... I felt the same way after the AU/Guilford game in 2013.

I believe these would be the remaining Conference Champs and AQ possibilities.

If CNU beats Maryville then CNU is sole champion and gets the AQ.

If Maryville beats CNU and Methodist then Maryville is the sole champion and gets the AQ.

If Maryville beats CNU and loses to Methodist then it gets interesting.
- If Methodist loses to Ferrum and Huntingdon loses one of it's remaining games then we have a tie between Maryville and CNU. MC gets the AQ by way of the head-to-head win.
-If Methodist loses to Ferrum and Huntingdon wins out then we have a three way tie between Huntingdon, Maryville and CNU. HC gets the AQ by way of wins over the other two.
-If Methodist beats Ferrum and Huntingdon wins out then we have a four way tie between Methodist, Huntingdon, Maryville and CNU. I THINK Methodist would get the AQ here going by Narch's earlier post where MU and HC would be 2-1 among the tied teams and MC and CNU would be 1-2 among the tied teams and MU having the head-to-head over HC.(Not sure if the conference tie breaker works this way but it makes sense).
-If Methodist beats Ferrum and Huntingdon loses one of it's remaining games then we have a three way tie between Maryville, Methodist, and CNU. As each one will be 1-1 among the tied teams and no one likely to be regionally ranked then we may end up with the three head coaches meeting at a Waffle House outside Greensboro at 1 AM Sunday for a Friday Night Lights style coin toss to see who gets the AQ. I believe Narch had the correct tie-break here. This 3 way tie  should be broken by looking at results vs. teams from the top of the conference standings down. All three teams have beaten NCWC, but MU beat HC while both MC and CNU lost to HC, giving MU the AQ.

Any corrections will be appreciated as I could be way off on some of these as I have no idea how the conference handles them.

Hawks88 - i think you're spot on with all of those except the last - i could be wrong, but i think that in lieu of the meeting at waffle house :), mu would get the nod here, as well...a 3 way tie with m'ville, mu and cnu should be broken by looking at results vs. teams from the top of the conference standings down, since head to head doesn't break the tie - all three teams have beaten ncwc, but m'ville and cnu both lost to huntingdon, giving mu the ncaa berth

abnrgr - i think there are really only 2 "if's" for the monarchs - if they can beat ferrum (certainly not a given, especially on the road), and if m'ville can beat cnu, then the monarchs play for the conference championship on 11/15 - initially i thought huntingdon had to be brought into the tie-breaker, but upon further inspection, i don't think they do

maryville and cnu are the only teams that have no if's...win out and they're in

I think you are probably right, Narch. Good catch.
