Doing good DG. Hope you and yours are good as well. Caught your boys at BSC. Not their best effort. Seems better since. I'm off to E&H this weekend to see if my boys can stay undefeated. Keeping one eye on your date with Mville. Might beg the wife to let me see that one.

We discussed Brevard College over on the ODAC page last week and the press release where they are flirting with the USASAC was linked. A coworker of mine was up there this weekend for something unrelated to football and I asked him about the facilities. He laughed and said they play football at the local h.s. Uggh...

The LaGrange stadium is more like a "community" stadium and is located "adjacent" to the campus. It is a beautful facility

It is nice, just a bit too large.
I heard somewhere it was built for the '96 Atlanta Games. Can anyone confirm?

Wiki says it was built in 1958.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Callaway_Stadium

I lived in Atlanta for about 14 years (including the '96 Olympics) and don't remember hearing about them building a stadium in LaGrange.  My old high school, however, benefited from the Olympics.  Their stadium was originally constructed for Olympic events, but afterward broken down and shipped up to the high school.  Not really sure how it worked, to be honest, but that's what we were told just the same.

From the Wiki article, "Its capacity is roughly 5,000 people all day long and has a press box on the home side." ALL day long you say?  ???

Gee, do most stadiums change capacity depending on the time of day?! ;D

Good ol' Wiki. :P

Well, if I remember my eighth grade earth science class correctly, metal expands when warm, so perhaps if it's poorly built, it could be larger when warmer. :)

Callaway is a beautiful stadium. I have been to a few high school games there over the years. I thought it did get an up grade/face lift for the '96 Olympics for soccer or sumthin, but could be wrong.

It is closer to my place than Huntingdon, but the boy visited, and had no (none, nada) desire to go there.
LaGrange is a fine school, and several of local kids went there , played soccer, or basketball and such.

very nice school

This is entirely possible.  I attended several events during the '96 games, but don't recall ever seeing or hearing anything about LaGrange.  I had a close friend who went to college there, though.  I'll try and get in touch with her to see if she knows.

I'll also ask her about the rumors regarding the fluctuating stadium capacity, too.   ;D
