Weather forecast for Saturday in Montgomery, mostly sunny with a high of 67. Sounds like a glorious day for some playoff football. It should be a great game. Hoping the Hawks play like they are capable and get the win so we can see how we stack up against the guys from Texas next week.

Go Hawks!

This was my first year as a parent/fan  in the USA south conference.  Rooting for the Scott of course.  Also my first year really understanding and getting to know D3 football.  There is a lot more talent than most people would think.  I like the way the conference feels like a tightknit community.  I hope to return for at least three more years and enjoy this conference If not  Beyond that  as a fan.  I've enjoyed watching my freshman son playing all the games except for one that he did not travel (his own fault/Learning maturity).  I do think they need better spotters for the kids stats on defense. But nonetheless as a freshman I thought you had a great year especially in the Huntingdon game.
Congrats to the hawks for winning the conference  and making the playoffs. Good luck !!!  The scouts will be rooting for you !!!

Scots- We had ground level endzone seats ( lounge chairs ;) ), so it was hard to see everything, but we we very sloppy. We had 1 or 2 fumbles in the red zone that killed long Hawk drives and a endzone interception that killed another.

But still proud of the outcome
Saw Hawks 88, lots of folk we hadn't got to talk to in a while.
next week will be tough, but I hope the Hawks play better than today.

Good to see you today, DGP. It was a very exciting ball game. It thought we were going to be able breath a little easier when we were up 11 and driving early in the 4th but the interception in the endzone kept it pretty tense. The defense gave up a drive there but then did what they've been doing a lot lately it seems, giving up yards but then stiffening in the red zone and holding them to a FG attempt. It was a very quick game with few penalties and both teams running the ball well, I think it took less than 2 1/2 hours.
Looking forward to seeing how we stack up against UMHB next week.

Go Hawks!

I hope some of you will be able to make the trip - Crusader stadium is a wonderful place to watch a game.   Congratulations on today's win and good luck next week!

Being off for Thanksgiving we are hoping to make the trip. There is a group trying to get a fan bus put together that we hope comes through. If not we will have to decide if we want to make that drive ourselves.

Montgomery to Selma to Uniontown to Demopolis to Cuba to I-20 to Abilene and you are there.  Very simple ;)

Congrats on your first round win, Hawks.  Safe travels to those of you who will be making the trip out to Belton.
