We actually found a cheap flight the other night after finding out the fan bus fell through. Only condition is that we have to fly back out of Dallas Saturday night. Just hoping there are no major delays as far as the game is concerned to mess us up.

Latest forecast for Belton Saturday: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a steady temperature around 39. North wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Brrr. Have our long johns, under armour and rain suits wedged into our suitcases. Maybe we can stay relatively warm and dry.

Also happy to find out the team was able to get a charter from Montgomery straight into Killeen. Not having to bus to/from Atlanta and anywhere else is a big plus.

Good to finally be home from a long and tiring two day trip. I thought our guys put on a good showing and really thought we were about to pull it off when we cut it to 6 at the beginning of the 4th. But then MHB went to that little option thing and we just didn't come up with an answer. Still feel good that the issue was in doubt well into the 4th on a cold miserable day.
As for the rest of the trip we didn't get to try the suggested Miller's Smokehouse as it was closed by the time we got into town Friday evening so we ended up at Schoepf's which we both thought was really good.
After the game we were able to stop off in West, Tx on our way back to DFW. One of my best friends growing up lives there and we were able have a good visit for an hour or so and watch part of the Iron Bowl before heading on to the airport where that 8:51 flight ended up leaving about 9:50.
Now I am going to go and sleep for most of the day before heading back to work on Monday.

Hawks looked great yesterday. They were energized and undaunted by their surroundings or opponent. A much tougher opponent in second rounds than we normally have, Huntingdon really showed their ability to do great things. Have a great offseason and good luck next year!
