Sloppy game and Berry wins 34-33.
Obvious offensive PI on Berry for a touchdown, but 5 points left on the board by special teams for MC.
Disgusted.

;D Hawks... now and then, we have barn burners in Pineville

Beat BSC
keep the faith
Pretty much always at Pineville, DG.

Is Hampden-Sydney down this year or was Averett just really pumped up to open their new stadium? Didn't see that one coming.

mu pulls out a late win against apprentice today, 24-20...to be honest, they didn't look great on either side of the ball - offense struggled to move it at times, and the defense gave up too many big plays...could be a long season if things don't get on track...
Hi, narch.  I'll miss next week's MU at Guilford game due to a trip overseas ... hope you're able to make it and log a report for me to read when I return.

No shots fired here - but any NC Weslyan fans headed to the game with Mount on Saturday? Was wondering if any of you had some insight on the team. Thanks-

They should be better than last year and that team was on the cusp of being pretty good. Good QB/WR tandem on offense.
UMU shouldn't have a problem, but I think it will be a fun 1st quarter to watch.

Holding UMU to 56 or less and scoring 14 or more should be a moral victory. (not being an a$$, just being realistic. NCWC will compete in USAC this year)

I'd say Scot13's assessment is pretty fair.

Good morning everyone. Not to much chatter this year. I guess everyone is looking to see what happens over the next couple of weeks. Here what I think about the USA. I think it is much improved from the past couple of years. Huntingdon, Maryville, NCW, Methodist, Lagrange. Averette and  Ferrum will surprise some people over the next two weeks. I look for Huntingdon to repeat this year but I think there will be some great battles along the way. Good luck to all the teams in the USA and I look forward to a great season.

You're right, Greensboro is not much improved, but all seven of the USASAC balance?

I'd say.

0-0 end of 1st.

0-14 at 7:37 2nd however.

What were you saying again, D.O.C.?  I agree, NCWC played them tough for a half, then it appears the Raiders wore them down.

2 hour weather delay at half, Maryville and Hanover get going again. MC scores...another weather delay.
31-0 MC with 12:03 left in 3Q. No lights.
Need to get the next 12:03 in for it to be official.

Went to the E&H video to check on the Wasps score ... 28-14 Final over Brevard.  E&H scored in every quarter and the Tornados scored in the 3rd and 4th.

I'm sorry, but E&H is the worst at posting their scores in a timely manner.  If I was an alumnus, I'd raise cane about it.

At the half in Greensboro:  Guilford 24, Methodist 0

I hope The Hawks can step up on the D side of the ball next Saturday against Belhaven.

It was a good game tonight, but the D gave up 2 easy TD's,.... got to get that cured.

Keep the faith and Go Hawks
