According to the Methodist website the remainder of the season will be played as scheduled and they have petitioned the NCAA to replay one of the missed games after the conclusion of the regular season.
Now we just hope they allow Huntingdon to do their video webcast. We've been hearing for several weeks now that they didn't want to let him because they don't have room. Not sure what that matters as two years ago he set up in the visitor's bleachers with a generator to do it. Hopefully it gets worked out so we can see the game. Does Methodist do a webcast? I don't see a link to it on their website.

Go Hawks!

They usually do have a webcast.

I've looked a couple of times this year and have come up empty.

The schedule on our website has a link to our video for Saturday. I'm pretty sure it wasn't there a week or so ago so hopefully it has been worked out and our webcast will be available.

Not much resistance from Methodist today. Hawks jumped out in front to lead 41-7 at the half before winning 47-14.
Senior day next week with the final home game against Greensboro.

Go Hawks!

Averett has a much improved team. Gave us all we wanted in the 4th after being down 24-3 at half. MC held on to win 31-26. Got to continue to play one week at a time. LaGrange next week then finishing with Huntingdon and Greensboro.

Shaun Hayes is now 14-3 as the head ball coach.
7 in a row over Averett. Hopefully we can break the Hawks' streak over us in 2 weeks

Not much to say about that one except that was ugly.
On to Maryville next week. NC Wesleyan took their second loss today so we don't have to worry about any tie-breakers. We keep winning, we keep playing. Our final two opponents are the two teams that beat the team that beat us. Time to see what we are really made of.

Go Hawks!

This matchup is what's great about small college football. I plan on making my patented post-Friday-game-drive-and-getting-to-Maryville-at-4:30-in-the-morning trek. Here's to us breaking the streak!

My wife and I are planning to be there.

I'll send you a message Saturday with our tailgate location-- love to have a cold Coca-Cola with you guys. Just because we're from Tennessee and Alabama doesn't mean we can't be civil on gameday ;D

High fructose corn syrup in a can or

real cane sugar in a chilled bottle (what we call in Texas "Mexican Coca-Cola")?   ;)

Real cane sugar or corn syrup, the one that burns a little on the way down. Or, as my papaw (Mr. East Tennessee himself) says, "puts a little hair on your chest." ::)

Chilled in the bottle. You might find Mexican Coca-Cola in a mom-and-pop (Hispanic) grocery store in the original 10 ounce bottle with a sticker on the bottle for the ingredients.

Yes, it will put "hair on your chest"!

I grew up around the Mexican culture. Working on a family farm with migrant workers during summers from age of 7 to 23 will open a young man's eyes. Their coke and our coke are different--I think I'll stick with the U S of A. I am fond of Jarritos and horchata, though. One of these days I'll make my way down to ol' Mexico
