One may never no under perfect conditions.  It could very well be that GC never beats CNU.  It took CNU a couple years to beat SU at Shentel.  Even though they probably were best team.  Everytime they were there.    Somebody please in the conference score before CNU does in game.  You will beat them if you do.

I will be honest I hate CNU with a passion.  I don't know why.  I know it has nothing to do with the football team. (I think the fans show alot of class too. Best fans in the conference)  I think it is because of Basketball.  (Basketball must be getting close then.  I think I am jealous of the Freeman Center.)

you hate CNU because it's human nature.....CNU has success in most sports....great fan and community support and since Trible took over as President, great sourcing of funds for athletics and top notch facilities that many d1 schools wish they had.........

it's natural to hate that if they are an opponent!

I'm a Viking fan.....so I naturally hate the Packers......cuz they have won super bowls and championships.

actually i haven't tailgated in years..........last time I did it, at least 8 CNU fans said they'd show...the only folks that did show up was JT and his wife from Rowan.....boy did I show them a good time.....that was embarassing...

However.......I got the stuff to tailgate......just give me a week's notice and some commitments to show, and I  will be glad to start again!! I park right outside the gate!

Two of my buddies from work are Averett grads, so the three of us are definitely headed to the game that day. I don't think I could promise you a big enough crowd to make it worth your while, though.

Bummer about your last tailgate. People backing out of things like that are impossible to predict.

GC Coach Neal took over in 2002. The team was 5-5 the 2 years before he took over.....since then

and now 2-2 so far this year.....

looks like he's going the wrong way.....12-32.......and when you look at the website it talks about all the awards the players have won....and the fact that one of the years they had 7 starters on the all-conference team and 12 total on that team. again, to me, it looks like GC has a lot of individual talent and no team concept - which is the head coach's job.

Here is what I am going to say about the conference, the capitins will NOT go unbeaten they in my perdiction will losse to Maryville next week the Pride will finsh 3rd in the conference this season and here is my poll that I am giving now:

This is how i can see this shapeing out. I think the game 2wks from today my change the top of the conf. when we go to AU in a conference RIVAL game for us.

How can the Pride finish third if you and your masterful mind have them finishing in  your poll above?? Very interesting.
