Eh-you- Yeah I am in the wager still.  I have a few questions though.  I can't post on any board, right?  Or just this one.  I have to put my picks in for the pick'em.  If GC loses WCLegacy, I will have to e-mail them to you.

Well, since I wouldn't want to do anything to interupt the stakes of this friendly feud, you can certainly email your pick-ems to me. I don't mind in the least. My email is on my profile.

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

sounds like a blast. I cross the water between Norfolk and Newport News twice a day...Sometimes I see those fast boats.

Where do you patrol? Or is that a DHS secret?

Some more interesting, yet useless, stats. This time it's on Greensboro's Defense. Bballguy mentioned he felt that they had the best pass defense in the conference.

Only 1 team, guilford, has passed for more than 200 yards. Only one other, Maryville, has passed for more than 100 yards. The other 4 teams passed for less than 100. They average giving up only 106 yards per game in the air and 196 on the ground. Pretty solid stats and based solely on the numbers I would not have them at 2-4.

Other things to consider when looking at numbers...

vs CNU....we all know about the 10+ inches of rain....CNU had 51 yards in the air. I think the Indianapolis Colts would have had a hard time passing in that game.

vs the Hornets....GC gave up 2 yards Net Passing...2 yards!!! as in TWO yards...but GC LOST 36-10...SU didn't need to pass.

vs Southern Virginia....well it's Southern Virginia...not much more to say. 84 yds in the air.

He mentioned Mars Hill ran for 499 yards....but they're at a different level. Kudos to GC for scheduling them.

vs Maryville....Maryville had the most balanced attack...146 passing, 123 rushing.

Anyway, just some numbers and opinions on stuff. Y'all have fun with it.

I have a hard time figuring out the games GC has played. Take out Mars Hill and the Waterowrld game at CNU and they are 2-2..Edging out a good Maryville team, edging out a poor SOVA team, a close game (loss) to Guilford who just beat #10 Bridgewater, getting blown out by a poor Hornets team........

So I predicted a 42-0 AU win....watch, GC will win 35-33. Which would be perfectly ok with me!!!

Wilmington, NC area but next as of December it's off to Charleston SC.  Anybody know nice places to live down there?
Any fool can circumnavigate the world sober...it takes a real sailor to do it drunk!!!

papi, no one could throw to the other team the way I could.  I have like 15 ints to CNU alone.  This Parks kid for MC has potential to be really good.  I like him.  With that off he should pass us in anther two years.

There are a lof of nice places to live in Charleston, but it can be very pricey around the beach, The Citadel, the College of Charleston and the Battery.  I predict you'll have go west on I-26 or north across the Cooper River until you find something in a serviceman's budget.  Good Luck!

I've been to Charleston many times in my past job......not a bad place to live. Everywhere looks pretty nice to me. They did a great job transitioning away from being a navy town. It's actually a nicer place without the navy.

Hasa is right...The Citadel area is nice...brought back some twitches...I had a boss that was a 1970 graduate from The Citadel...I'll never be the same!!

I set up a few posting rules for myself.  Again most of you know, I don't back down when people confront me.  To save my heart (history of heart problems in the family  ;) :-\), I will use these rules when people confront me about the pride and in general:

1) If you talk bad about a coach or a player, usually I defend them.  If you talk bad I will smite you.  I have that power. (This won't happen all the time, but I will judge it)

2) When you do talk bad about a coach or a player,  I will follow with use your resourses and channel it elsewhere.

3) I will congratulate all teams on victory. I will congratulate players of the week, and debate who should have gotten.

4)  I will ask questions about things that have happened in box scores, be more of a statistical approach.

Greensboro isn't used to having avid posters on these boards.  They just aren't ready as the rest of the schools in the conference.  I will respect that and take it easy.

I don't have to make any rules for myself, do I ? :-\

How about this - if Greensboro wins, I'll make myself a large hot fudge sunday to celebrate !!!  ;D

If Greensboro loses, I'll make myself a large hot fudge sunday to console myself !!!  :'(

Sometimes I think that maybe I'm just too hard on myself ! !   8)

I know, I know, typical Pride lack of discipline . . . . . . .   :(

ROLL PRIDE ! ! ! !

Rule #2 also confused me, so I decided to eat a large hot fudge sundae while I tried to figure it out.  The sundae was delicious, but I was still confused with rule #2.

47-87-7 612 yards and 1 W against CNU....you made me mad last year...

20-29-1 323 yards.....what a way to go out as a senior..knocking us out of the playoffs for the first time ever...I bet you still have nice dreams about that!! Nobody could beat you that day!
