      This is the first year I have posted on post patterns. (ODAC & USA South) It has been fun sticking in my two cents worth here and there. Guess I'll have to work a little harder next year so I can earn an award. 
     I'll continue to pop in and out during the playoffs with some sort of profound post.  Then it's off to basketball!!

Who, me?  The only things that get put in the nuke machine (better known at the microwave) in my office are the students' tests if they are taking them at a different time than the rest of the class in order that they don't get lost on my desk.  In 23 years at BC and 3 at HPU I haven't gone nuclear yet (though I can pronounce it which W cannot).  Even after the Gilford loss and the E&H loss I was there to give hugs as my players came off the field.  I am always there in the good times.  I felt it imperative to be there when it wasn't such a good time as well.  I was there for my guys when Trinity came up and beat us in the snow.  One of the WR got emotional but he got to hide his face in a big hug.  That's what moms are for!  The BC nation is having football withdrawal at the moment, but you know I sat through many years when we didn't win any games.  I can remember when we were the laughing stock of d3football.  I must say I can appreciate it much better now that we have a winning tradition and kids, coaches, staff, students, faculty and administration that want to win and work hard to do so.  But, in finishing,  my QB took us to the Stagg Bowl even if I didn't get to go, having gotten out of the hospital from major surgery the day before.  I can assure you that I will be there to cheer this year and to help Stone Station host the fan base of both teams that make it to the finals.  Brownies for both teams, and for the tailgate to beat all tailgates.  You should dogsled in for the occasion.  How long could it take to get here from there?  Go Gennies!!  Go Captains.  Represent VA well tomorrow!  Oh, withdrawal is painful, it really is.

I've already listened to all the GC archived games, figured out who the seniors are and who should be back. Now what do I do?

Just rolled in from another great day of D3football.... and a little D3Bball.

Thanks much for the hospitality and great tailgating spot near the stadium. Glad you enjoyed the "pregame activities", multiply that times about 6 bottles at the Stagg! Come on up and join us. I think there are already fans from 6 schools coming and we are still counting.

It was nice putting faces with WCLegacy, CNULifer and Bro, Goose, and the group of fans in the far stands who told me "you gotta have balls to wear that Bridgewater gear in here", LOL. I offered them a beer and all was cool.

Great day, great game, and great facilities as usual. Another great example of all that is good in D3 athletics.

ps. Hooters was a good call. It was cheerleader day.   Oh the wings weren't bad either.
