85-
For what it's worth, I'm definitely going to be there in Salem! I'm not sure if that would help push you to 32% or bumps you back down to 30.  ;D

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

some bytehead probably did it for a class project.....he gets an A!!

AdmiralPapi

Wow...now that is impressive!!!   So can we expect to see Va Tech on the schedule next season 85?   ;D
Any fool can circumnavigate the world sober...it takes a real sailor to do it drunk!!!

No because Tech will only schedule high school teams. They have one of the weakest schedules in D1 football.

My apoligies, can you tell I am a UVA fan. Nothing to brag about there either. They need an offensive coord. Groh should take lessons from Bobby Bowden.

CNU85

We tried to get Va Tech on the schedule. They were SCARED!!!  :D

Congrats to Rod Rod and Roland on First Team All-South honors. J Lo and Boykins were Second Team choices and Broach was a Third Team pick. Also, congrats to all over USA South players and South region members who were honored.

Anybody who chose Orange as the color for UVA has a big problem to begin with.  When he was there, it was Blue.  When I see all the Orange, I just shudder, it is so Clemson-like.  I was raised by a Paladin (read that Furman) so Clemson is not on my top million and the color orange is CLEMSON.  So as far as I am concerned, he has jinxed himself and his teams.  Of course I am the baseball mom at my school as well and we are very superstitious (and the Brownie mom for the UVA baseball team as well ;D ;D ;D)  I'd like to clone Chris Long.  Oh wait there are 2 more Longs in the pipeline, one of whom is a QB at STAB and Kyle who is built very much like his brother and to whom I owe brownies since last summer.  My bad!!  Al Groh is on my last nerve.  The lack of offense is a shame.  I want Gary Cuozzo back.  I want Frank,  I want Turnley Todd (Oh, showing my age there with these guys, but they are still my favorites along with Chris Long!!!!!   :o :o :o   Oh, by the way, did I tell you how I hate

  ORANGE!!!!!
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

AdmiralPapi

I hope I never have to stop Olinemom out on the water, with her hatred for orange she might try to take me and my boat out!  Just as long as she's brings brownies it'll be ok  ;)

  ORANGE!!!!!

Mom, Darrell changed the University of Texas' orange color to Burnt Orange in the mid 1950's, supposedly to mask the football better,  the leather on the football being roughly the same shade.  When Tennessee came to the 1969 Cotton Bowl they had to buy new white "away" jerseys, because UTexas would not wear white.  I thought that Tennessee shade was more a kin to "yeller orange" "puke orange''.  (You Yankees just don't know the inflection it takes to make yeller orange, or puke orange sound just right (kinda like this-- "p-yooke").  I'll be that Olinemom does.)

I really did not think of "orange" as a football color.  Burnt Orange was always different.  When my older daughter went off to Auburn, I finally understood the different oranges...Tennessee Orange, Auburn Orange, Florida Orange, Clemson Orange, Virginia Orange, Okie State Cowboy Orange and Black, Illinois and Chicago Bear Orange, etc.  I then realized how many oranges there really were.   :D ;D :D ;D :) ;) 8)
