Not sure when most teams will be rolling out their '07 skeds, but Ferrum's is posted on the school's Web site -- and I'm happy that they've rejoined the 10-game club:

September
1st:  vs. Emory & Henry
8th:  at Southern Virginia
15th:  at Bridgewater
22nd:  at Shenandoah
29th:  vs. Averett

October
6th:  at Maryville College
13th:  vs. Methodist
27th:  vs. Greensboro

November
3rd:  at N.C. Wesleyan
11th:  vs Christopher Newport

I checked the other schools' sites and nothing yet. As was mentioned in another recent post on the board, it'll be interesting to see who Averett gets to replace Wesley on the schedule.

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

3 on the road in a row sounds tough on those Panthers

No GC-Q either..........

Not to mention that opening at home against E&H isn't exactly going to be a cakewalk :-\  Hopefully, the FC starters will get a break that second week against SoVa  :D

If Ferrum can pull off two wins in these first three nonconference games, I'd be thrilled. Actually, I think that would be my hope for all of the USA South teams. I want to see most teams go at least 2-1 in nonconference play this season. Anything would be better than that 9-14 record we had last season.

I'm eager to see who some of the other teams are lined up to play in '07.

I feel for you because I had a sked that was 4 on the road up front (way back). You either be road warriors or the crowds get louder. Good luck my man

conference schedules are easy to figure out. I know CNU is going to Mary Hadin Baylor.....most likely they will also play Rowan and Salisbury again......that's a tough 3 games to start.

CaptainChris

CNU doesn't have their schedule online but it is as follows:

Sept 1 vs Rowan
Sept 8 at UMHB
Sept 15 vs Salisbury
Sept 29 vs Shenandoah

Oct 6 at Greensboro
Oct 13 vs Maryville
Oct 20 vs NCW

Nov 3 at Averett
Nov 10 at Ferrum

Also Congrats to Justin Wood who has landed with the Cincinnati Jungle Kats of AF2. I wish him the best and know he will be a force to be reckoned with just as he was at CNU.

Just nine games?

i'm pretty certain the 10th game will be against the monarchs :)

PA_wesleyfan

Hmmmm interesting!!!Wesley also only has nine games last I heard and one of those was a Southern team not yet mentioned.. Though that would still leave the Wolverines with nine.
Football !!! The ultimate team sport. Anyone who plays DIII football is a winner...
