Williams is good with kids. He goes to great lengths to ensure those kids that would be on the street are on the field. His coahes sometimes had to get arrange rides for the less advantaged. Game and practice shoes too! He had the knack for getting every athlete that was available.

He never runs the score up either unless you are stupid enough to do it to him.....

Havelock, New Bern, and West Craven high schools were brutal games since we were all 20 minutes away from each other.

Anthony Hayes was not drafted by the Redskins but was invited to a rookie camp for Firday. It was in the front sports page of the Winchester Star on Tuesday.

I just talked to my son at SU and he said Anthony Hayes is at the Redskins rookie camp today.  Not sure why his name wasn't listed but it is on the DIII web page in one of the recent stories.   A few teams were looking at Hayes and he did very well in the combines.

Whats up everyone, back on the board finally! I changed jobs form the moutains and took a job here in charlotte at south meck high school. When i changed, i lost my email so i had to get a new account. My old one is MCOL51, in case anyone was wondering. So narch tell me whats up in Spring Camp, hows the QB looking. I had a guy from Enka coming there, one of my lineman was going down there but i guess he decided not to when i left. He is going to western now from what i hear. But keep me up to date.
       Byrd how is everything man, you still playing for the guard, or you teaching somewhere now? let me know man. Its willis by the way, lol.
        We are looking for a D-Coordinator here for us. If any of you are interested, coach martin is looking to hire a young staff who knows football. I am the youngest, however, the oldest is only 30 years old. Anyone interested, it is a math job, or special ed job, or science. Let me know if any takers.  ill let him know.

Mosh, alright yeah just send it to him. We have practice today so i will see him then and i will let him know that you are interested. That would be great man, we need one. I will tell you we run a 4-3 cover 2 look and sometimes we roll into a cover 3 we just dont show it. Against Butler, we will run straight cover 3 since they just throw the ball. Yeah man ill put in a good word for ya, i know how you played, and im sure you coach with that much heart as well. Look forward to it man.

MC_ftbl51 good to hear that your doing well. Right now im back with the Guard. I had been out to LA with the arena one team, but got hurt.  I had been working with the special ed kids at white oak, but took a break during football season. Im going back there to coach. I saw some of the spring practices this year. The guys look pretty good. Have some young talented guys on the team. Good luck on the upcomming season.

Mosh- Hey man, i talked to Coach Martin this morning before school. He said he got your resume and he liked everything, however, there is not a history job open right now. We need Math and science and special education. He said he would keep your resume though in case something came open in that area.

MC55- Yeah man, i coached football back at my old school at Enka. We didnt do that good this year, we went 3-8. The coach got fired and alot of things happened. I coached baseball though and had a blast man. We went 19-2 and won the conference. However, i guess when you do well there, you get asked not to come back. I was the youngest coach on the staff and i did not have tenure, so they asked me not to come back, saying they had hired another coach who wants to bring in some more coaches from georgia. So i left and came here, and they still have not hired anyone, nor are they going to. LOL i think its funny, noone wants to coach at Enka.
       I am in a good position man, as a coach i could not have asked for a better job to come to. My line averages 6'2 1/4'' and 285.4 pounds. My left tackle, is going to NC STATE to play hes 6'7'' 315 and runs a 5.0 So i am in a good position and loving it man. The kids are nice as can be and the community is involved here. So i am hoping to do good here, and make a name for myself, no better place to do ti than here in charlotte. Holler at me man!
