What I mean we should watch him as in follow and get video, audio, sat imagery.

It's what done to people who may pose a threat.  :) ;). I am of course "funning" as they say in the eastern part of NC.

Its an off handed compliment for good research

Now what is that supposed to mean?  haha.

The only thing I can think of is...well I do have a screw in my wrist from my high school football days.  The metal might cuz a malfunction.

May I should go to the ODAC site to ask this question, but hopefully there may be some more Averett fans on here that haven't spoke up lately......

I was looking at Averetts web site today and saw the 2007 football schedule and it has Averett playing Washington & Lee University in Salem. This only gives Averett 4 home games this year. Does anyone have any insite as to what is up with them playing in Salem also does anyone know if this is a day or night game. I have heard rumors that it may be a night game, but on Averetts schedule it has TBA.

I keep looking at Averett's site and I only see nine games, nothing with W&L.

The Averett site has schedules in two places, for some reason. Kickerdad was probably looking at this one, which lists W&L on Sept. 22:

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

Thanks. I tried a lot of possibilities, including going to the athletics front page and the SCHOOL's front page to see if perhaps the web site structure had changed, but I didn't find that page.

Talk about inefficient.

Pat, I agree. I have been told that the entire site is being upgraded but no one will say when that button is going to be pushed. I spoke to one of the assistants because I had seen where Guilford and Greensboro were going to be at night and the schedule you saw had 1:00 PM. He said the games were going to be at night but the schedule on the football page wouldn't be updated until the new site was brought up. The schedule I am looking at is the same one Legacy is seeing. That is under the Athletics Home page under the football tab in the drop down. The person I spoke to indicated the details with W&L hadn't been worked out. That conversation was over 30 days ago. The Salem site was only put on the web site within the past 3 days. W&L has yet to put anything on their site about they 2007 schedule and apparently know one on the Old Dominion site knows anything.

Pat Coleman

Yes, there are two schedules on that site. One is listed under "Football schedule" on the left-hand side of every football page. Apparently that's the wrong one. :)

You have to somehow know to click "news" and then the separate schedule link on that page to get the slate you're describing.

I had also noticed that Guilford shows the September 15 home game versus Averett as a 7:00 pm start while Averett's site shows it as 1:00 pm.  All reports I get say this is a night game which will be, in fact, the first Guilford night game on campus in their history.  They've had "home" night games before at Grimsley HS, War Memorial Stadium and Western Guilford HS, but never on campus.

kickerdad

Bottom line is someone needs to get the Averett Web site straight.  Good luck trying to get anyone this time of year to do anything. Pat, maybe you can send an email to their AD or SID and let them know that the thing is a mess. They might listen to you.

kickerdad

Looks like the boys at Averett figured it out.  The explanation and schedule is now published.  Averett and W&L will play on 9/22 at night in Salem. Averett has also announced that in 2008 and 2009 they will replace Mount Union with Bridgewater College.

Pat Coleman

Sounds like a good game. I believe we'll have someone there.
