mosh - Ernest Hemingway and Edgar Allan Poe were an alcoholic and a drug addict, respectively, so what's your point?  :)

Yes, but was he lactose intolerant?  Got Milch?

I agree, Saban's right.  I agree, Saban should agree with me.  I agree, you should agree with Saban.  I agree, I'm done as well.  I disagree, since there was nothing being contested, how can you win - or lose - something if you weren't playing a game?  Go Quakers!

Apparently you can still lose your mind without trying!!!! ;D

If we are going to start throwing out quotes then this is my all-time favorite.

haha. :D I don't know how much German you do know and it has been a few years for me.  I believe it would actually be Haben Milch?  It could be Habst Milch?, but that would indicate you know the person you are talking very very well. Haben is used as a form of respect for others.

Note to everyone: I am going to try to put a new signature up everyday until football season starts.  Enjoy  :)

I can't quote famous people....heck I can't even remember what I had for lunch yesterday!! So I'll quote myself - it's what I tell my employees every day - there could be a football analogy (imagine that - football talk - we haven't done that in awhile)

"You can do it, or your replacement will do it"

football question....how did the football get it's shape? Did the QA guy at the round ball factory fall asleep?

I thought it was orginally a pig's intestine they blew up and filled with air.  Hence why the football is also called a "pig"skin.  I like your idea much better CNU85.

or was it a pigs stomach.  pigskin would make more sense if it were actually the pigs skin.

NARCH- I know what you mean. There were some guys i remember my freshman year coming in. One in particular who stood out to me. You come in as a freshman and you feel very intimidated by everyone. Knowing that you just left high school as a senior and now you go back to being the low man on the totum pole so to speak. I laugh now when i look back but this one guy just kept talking about how great he was in high school and what he had done. We kept askign if he had game film, he was like yeah my parents kept them. So we asked him to show it to us and he never did, later we found out why. The day came for oklahoma drills, and hitting and pass pro drills. He runs his mouth to some guys, and finally he goes up against one of the good guys that year, jamaal leggett. Name sound familiar? lol, he absolutley pummled him the guy quit and didnt come back the rest of camp. So i know how it is to see people come in and talk the talk but they cant walk it when it come time.
Why the heck are we discussing grammar anyways, its like im back in english 101 again!!

Mosher- Hey man, we just got word that we may be loosing a history teacher, we wont know until he interviews up north. If thats the case you are the first on coaches list buddy. Im trying to help and push the issue, we just got to wait and see. I will let you know as soon as i hear something so he can get you down here. If your still interested in the d-c spot?

GO MONARCHS!! 2005 Conference Champs!

Pride - I only wrote "milk" in German, hence the reason milch was italicized and "got" wasn't.

OK, back to football.  If any of you Methodist guys are going to be at the Guilford game in Fayetteville on Sept. 8, let me know.  I've already met narch last winter at a basketball game, but also welcome the opportunity to meet others.  It's hard for me to assess Guilford's passing game this season with several key receivers lost due to graduation, but it should be a good game.
