Averett still has a lot of talent coming back, that one thing that helped us win a Championship last year, DEPTH.  Now these kids are going to be in starting roles and they know what it takes! NCWC will be a tough game for everyone this year just like last year.

   I wanted to thank you for giving me the best hit i ever had on a wr (my junior yr).  You payed me back though with  a TD, I will always have to live with that.  Good Luck working with C. Cline at McDaniel he was a lovely fellow (sarcasm).

The Poll consists of voters (fans) 2 from MU, 2 from GC, 2 from SU, 2 from AU, 1 from CNU, and 1 from MC.

The top 3 schools in the poll were also the schools that were under represented by voters. (FC was under represented as well.) Does that mean anything? No, but I thought it was worth mentioning.  Maybe it means the voters weren't bias in thier choices.

Also can someone shine the light on the idea of 4AA vs 4A for NC high school playoffs.  What is the difference between the two (3A,2A, and 1A as well)

  Greenville Rose, Independence.  But that is only two of the million teams that get into the playoffs. 

3 aa and 4a not much differant.

2a top tier teams can compete with the 3a and 3aa teams but anything lower hasnt a chance with maybe the excpetion of a very select few (teams like bunn can maybe compete depending on the talent they have that year.)  A team Im going to keep on a eye on is Roanoke Rapids.  They just got a new coach in Russel Weinstein and he is pretty keen on offense.  I met him at Northern Nash.  Grimsley lost the head man due to resignation and I think Page is going to start picking it up in our area.  It is tough predicting high school though unless you really know what people have coming back.
