my mom was (is) left handed. When she was in school (she attended all girl's Catholic school her entire life). The nuns tied her left hand behind her back because being left handed was a sign of satan!

Maybe that explains PSBBG's grammar!!  :D

good for all positions except center (if a qb is the best on the team, who cares if he's a lefty)
good for baseball pitchers/1b/of...bad for anything else
good for basketball players...throws a nice little element of surprise into the mix

Sports we are oppressed. I like the left handed QB wish there was more out there.  If the QB refuses to sign with the Baltimore Colts and then flees to Denver, I don't want that lefthanded QB.  :)

I knew a kid growing up right handed, but batted left, threw left (I believe also).  Its not uncommon for a righty to bat left because of switch hitting, but he couldn't bat right.  He did everything lefthanded in baseball because his dad was left handed.  I say thank you to him, because he brought somebody to the "darkside"  :D

You guys keep busting on PSGGB.

A guy I knew had a malfunction with his T10 chute and did not recover from it. He bounced. All I could say was "better him than me"

Better you than me PSGGB. ;)

CNU always scrimmages HSC. I would assume that would be next week since CNU hasn't put on pads yet.

Nice story on CNU in the local paper today......some new guys hopefully can step in and contribute right away.....I hope the kid that was a Cincinnati Bearcat last year can make an impact.

Is that story online anywhere? If so where is it, so I may read it.

PSSGB
There are malfunctions daily and burn ins probably quarterly. Those are the ones you hear about. But this one was in 1991.

85, what happened to your Linebackers? You were banking on them for sure. Could it have been the LB coach leaving or what. And a 31 year old team captain. What kind of shape is he in?

Younger son does everything left handed but kicked football with right foot.. Only kicker I ever saw who kicked spirals off a tee...Must be that left handed brain working  LOL
Football !!! The ultimate team sport. Anyone who plays DIII football is a winner...

Word is that the 3 LB and one DB that did not return because:

2 transfered to a school that had a major they wanted (imagine that- an athlete looking at the academic side of things - that is why I LOVE D3 sports) - I wish them well in life

1 is sitting out while attending CNU b/c he wants to get his grades up - a nice priority to have

1 is, well....to paraphrase Coach Kelchner - no longer with the team

I don't have names to attach to the various reasons - but there you have it.

I've heard CNU has a new O-lineman that is a beast - not sure if it is the same as the 31 yr old.

I've found quite a bit about the former Bearcat on the internet - a scouting website had him running a 4.4   40 in HS.

That's all I know - and all found off the internet - public knowledge kinda stuff.

The more I read, the less nervous I get about the season. I just hope the guys can pull it all together starting with week 1.

Factoid - CNU is 0-6 in week 1 and 5-1 in week 2
