Well, you obviously did!  I just went to the site for the first time and saw you conversing with CNUFB....I guess I'm behind the times.  The information I mentioned previously was in the DP.

Did you really have to pay $2,500 per person to go to Texas?

GO CAPS!

yeah...i got the scoop on the scrimmage...I was asking around to see what others heard or saw.

yep.....that was the asking price for the trip. Last I heard, there's a few seats left!!

On "The LC" forum at HRTownSquare.com, CNUFB, who's Matt and Justin Long's father, said he heard that CNU dominated on both sides of the ball.  He also mentioned that the rb transfer from Cincinnati was awesome.  As they say, the proof's in the pudding.

GO CAPS!

P.S.  I didn't even know that website existed....did you?

yeah...i found it (actually was told about it by the DP writer who covers CNU) a few weeks ago. The blurb from CNUFB is in this morning's paper.

6 days left!!!!

Eh-You

FYI - fan poll released - 2 USA South teams in the top ten - not sure I agree but neat for the conference!
To all newbies - don't run your mouth until the team you're pulling for wins the big game. (please refer to Eh-You's karma for more details)

Must be nice to have that kind of dough, 85.

Oddly enough, not what Kickoff says. :)

Nothing wrong with his predication. Hell I am predicating Averett will upset the Mount. We all have to be a little crazy and have fun with this stuff.
By the way if my predication comes true I will be in Vegas first thing Sunday morning.
That will be crazy.............and never happen.

Its been a while since the last time I have posted. It doesn't matter too much, because nothing has changed.

1 CNU is still my favorite to win
2 NCWC will not win the conference and will probably finish 3rd or 4th.
3 AU will do better than what many think
4 GC has 10 of 11 starters returning on defense, plus I believe over half of the offense, will finish better than 3-7
5 MU will finish better than 4-6
6 MC could be a surprise team
7 FC could be a surprise team
8 SU will finish in last this season, but not next season.

Narch- Its good to hear the boys are doing well. Any thoughts on how lawerence looked. He is supposed to be the man this year at linebacker. Glad to hear that someone else is there to toat the rock with hill to be a good 3rd down back, now they just need to find a good fullback to lead the way and they will be in good shape.

My predictions-

CNU- Will win the conference outright this year. Looking at their roster, they have some good stuff returning, so they will be tough as always.

NCWC- could finish 2nd if they can improve any from last year. Player of the year is back in cedric Townsend. Good QB and a great running back in bush. Defense looks pretty solid on paper, we'll see.

MU- finish 3rd. Make vast improvements from last year and the line is more experienced and will be able to protect the qb better. Defense looks solid, and of course hill and parks and doleman on offense with a mix of mularski in there, thats a four part punch that you dont want a part of.

MC & GC- This is a toss up for these two spots. Both teams are pretty good  and are very disciplined. Lowe will be the key for GC and Maryville will have a good defense ready to go. Could bite some teams toward the end of the year.

Ferrum- Hard to replace Pitts. Not a good year for the panthers.

SU- Very young and immature. I dont look for them to be strong for a year or so.
GO MONARCHS!! 2005 Conference Champs!

Hey MC...who told you MC's defense would be strong? I'm sure as heck glad to hear it but my sources tell me their D is the question mark. They should be able to score but can they stop their opponent from scoring?
     GO SCOTS!!
