Hey Ryan Tipps, I'm looking forward to reading your articles each week covering the region. I hope you make a trip to Shentel Stadium in the near future.

Thanks, Jessie. The first ATR is already posted.

I would love to make it up to Shentel sometime, if not this season, probably next. It would have to be for a game under the lights!  :)

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

Allsky7- I heard from some guys down there. I never said they would be remarkable now, but i think they will be good. Of course loosing Northern at nose guard is a huge loss for them, but Hayden on the end is a pretty good fit with the other couple of lineman they have coming back.

Ryan Tipps, could you send me the link of the postem boards so i can do my picks. If im not mistaken, will it be the same format as last year?

Yeah, what Pat said, it's there as a subcategory of General Football.

The trick, though, is that you have to be logged in to even see the board, let alone post on it.

The format is essentially the same, but with two changes. First, the person who comes the closest in the tiebreaker gets an extra point. Second, I now let people make one "weighted" pick. You can mark the one game that you are surest about, and that's worth double (two points) if you get it right.

It should have been three.

Greensboro College wins the USAC this year!

Oddly enough, not what Kickoff says. :)

Nothing wrong with his predication.

No -- it was just a reminder that no Greensboro fan (or anyone who claims to be associated with the school) has ever purchased Kickoff in three years. The only other school on that list is Maranatha Baptist.

Where's the love?

GC fans don't buy Kickoff because they are too busy......nevermind.

Nice job, 85!

You and Jennifer see eye to eye on a lot of games, and I definitely think some of your picks are right on.

85,

Nice write up, well written. Just hope some of your predictions don't hold up. You are right on with Averett, we are just hoping that Dunlevy can pull one of his rabbits out of the hat and turn this season into at least a winning one (6-4 maybe).

Greetings and salutations fellow USA South posters. Been a while since Ive been on here. Alot has happened in my personal life, and Ive just been too darn busy to get on here for five minutes. But I have some time now and thought I would say hello and attempt to get back into the swing of things. Hope everyone had a great summer and is getting ready for a lil college football in less than a week

Uncle Jessie

Here is a nice article in todays Winchester Star about Hornets QB Richard Glick. It talks about how he over came last years broken leg injury and hopes to help the Hornets this year in a big way.
