Something has gotta give in the AU/Meth game.  I think Meth will win by 7.  There isn't reasoning for it, just a gut feeling.  I think there is one NCWC fan on here.  I didn't know if there was a FU poster.

I just hope we can stop FU's Offense.  I could be wrong, but I believe they have put up 400 yards of offense the past 2 games.  I think the final will most likely be 27-24 Maryville win.  I am impressed with Ferrum this year.   I certainly didn't think they would be playing like they are.  This year is like every other b/c you never know what is gonna happen, except CNU will be around the top of the standings somewhere.

I like you have a gut feeling and that is--CNU is going to get knocked off the hill this year. I predict either NCWC or Maryville and possibly Ferrum based on what I saw last week, will take them and one of the lower teams will sneak up on them and catch them off guard (looking ahead or behind)

It would be nice to see a new face at the top.  Maybe this is the year!!

     IMO...the Fighting Scots need to play well and win tomorrow. It is a crucial game to their season. Obviously, it is a conference game so it is important. However, I think they need a big game psychologically too after last weeks butt whooping. Losing tomorrow with CNU on the road on the horizon is not a good thing.

How right you are.  What would really be nice is a big decisive win instead of a nail biter.  They obviously can win the close one, but now they need to show they can put away teams the should win.  I know they can do it.  They need to go ahead and show everyone else.  Maryville needs all the momentium they can have going into CNU.  Coach Ierulli will have the boys hyped up for this game.  They probably had a very hard week of practice after the NCWC game, so they should be ready to take it out on Ferrum.

Mosher9, winning the conference is a great feeling but beating Gboro year in and year out ranks up there and this is the reason why. I knw this year players don't have a clue, but no other team disrespected our 0-3/1st season team in 01 like your players and coaches did. Taking team pictures, laughing and joking, and some players taunting us before our game  is something that I know I will never forget. But it is also something I appreciated because it fueled our desire to prove everyone  one else wrong and start doing our own laughing. So I hope that CNU blows the doors off of Gboro again. So lets go Captains take it one game at a time blow out the Pride.

I don't have a dog in this weeks fight, but Narch, I have a feeling Hill has a big day today, Methodist by 21, Maryville by 17, CNU by 13.  Let's keep it interesting.

17-3 Maryville, FG set up on a penalty on Coach I b/c his guy got chopped blocked on and got hurt and he said something to the ref.  I'll take a penalty on a coach who defends his player.  I know you gotta play hard, but it is the ref's job to make those calls when they are obvious to protect the players.  It is gonna be a tough played game.
