Good game for CNU, and thats why I said from the beginning they were going to win the conference.  Not too sure why they were passing the ball late in the game though.  CNU had to have at least 170 rushing yards in the game.  Mike Brown is going to be a good QB, they could have ran almost WVU style with him the rest of the quarter, no need to be passing even on first down.  The 45 yard FG has to be a CNU record, how exciting that must be in the record book 52-21 game the FG comes with 1:08 left in the game.

I think there is a different thread for that.

GC had thier chances in the game.

CNU85, I don't ever want you to question GC's discipline in a game.  I know CNU had all the personal foul calls in the game.  A game which was a rout.  I did lose a little respect I had for CNU as a class act program.  I have been nothing but respectful to CNU this year.  They are still the favorite to win, and they will be my favorite to win next year. No need for the fouls.

that's the first thing Coach Kelchner brought up in post game. They lost focus and he took the blame for not keeping his team focused....too many penalties and too many personal fouls. The coach wasn't hapy with it....that's what makes a class program....he's ticked and he'll make sure it doesn't happen again.

Football is a game of emotion.  Personal fouls will happen.  It doesnt mean a program isnt a class act.

My thoughts on the game.  CNU, not as good as they have been in the past but still pretty good.  Your qb didnt look like a baller but he is really accurate and he has some speed guys that catch well placed balls.   I was surprised at how much yall slang the ball around.

Final thought.  I think NC Wes is going to be a better team when you play.  If yall win it will be on your qb's shoulders.

CNU was most likely passing late in game for 2 reasons....

1. they were probably testing something in a game situation with Alex Brown.
2. Lowe had almpst 200 yards and until very late CNU was up 42-21 and GC was scoring on quick long plays.....so, Coach K probably felt the fat lady wasn't singing yet......

all players CNU brought to the game played except the 4rd string QB and coach apologized for not getting him in the game.

I agree Mosh. CNU is not as strong as in past years. But also, the conference as a whole is probably the weakest it has been in a long time, maybe the weakest ever. Whichever team gets the AQ, will probably suffer a blowout in round 1.

around 550 total yds for CNU. Faison set school records for passing yds (331) and TD passes (5). Bradshaw had 8 catches about 160 yds and school record 3 td catches. Graham set school record with 45 yd fg...then injured his ankle walking off the field onto the track.
