I wasn't trying to get on you.  I was just trying to put myself in those kids shoes.  It would be tough to walk away from playing.  So I am sure they had some soul searching to do before they left that team.

No offense taken.  I was just clearing it up b/c I can see how you came to that conclusion.  It's all good.  I just was always taught you finish something you start no matter what.  It couldn't have been an easly decision for them.

Ok it became official a little while ago. I'm driving to CNU and should get there around 11 in the morning depending on the truckers after midnight congestion on 81 and 64 and actually get to stay overnight Sat rather than drive back immediatly, woo hoo!!!!!!

That's a real tough break for SU and I'll have to give kudos to Barnes a lot of things seem a lot harder when you're searching for a win, especially dismissing starters.

su97/uj - i can tell you from experience that tough times are sometimes a blessing in disguise for a football team...su football will get through this and be better for it in the long run

i hope the door didn't hit those guys on the backside on their way out - whatever the reasons, quitting on your teammates at this point in the season is unacceptable in my mind...there isn't much that is so bad that you can't gut it out for another 5 weeks

mosh...you might be defending those players, but you would never have left your teammates in the middle of a season...under any circumstances...

Your right I wouldnt be able to do what they did.  Does that make me a good person..NAH!  If they left because of the record then I wouldnt be able to ever talk to them again if i was a former teamate.  I was simply saying that we dont know the full story and therefore shouldnt be making assumptions about the character etc..,

I am sorry the guys are quitters....Yea Mosh we don't know the whole story but one kid left after a 7-6 loss and the other kids were stated as being no shows to practice. If they left for any other reason the article would have probably read "so and so left the team for personal reason's" Im sure SU wouldn't try to slander a young mans name incorrectly. Bottom line don't try to transfer to CNU because I KNOW COACH K HATES QUITTERS. HE WOULD HAVE RESPECT FOR YOU IF YOU FINISHIED THE SEASON OUT AND DECIDED NOT TO RETURN. BUT IF YOU TURNED YOUR EQUIPMENT IN EARLY CONSIDER YOURSELF DEAD IN HIS EYES.

The whole SU team is dealing with the losses but with actions like those I see why they are losing game after game. And like I posted after the SU CNU game a lot of the playes did not have emotion and Im sure those players were giving off negative energy. Maybe SU can rebound now that they are rid of some of that cancer
