The only time the game is held up here at BC is when we are taking Communion late and they have to delay the kickoff as a result.

a few things to post....but this first one is the one that really matters. Everyone say a prayer for CNU head coach Matt Kelchner. During halftime he was feeling light headed and apparantly had an elevated heart beat and/or blood pressure (not sure of all the details as I'm getting the info second and third hand). He was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

If anyone like Riki Tiki Tavi hears anything, please let us know. This absolutely is more important than a game. Let's hope everything was precautionary and he'll be on the sidelines next Saturday.

Now about the game....wow what a game! NCW played well and hard. CNU had 3 turnovers in the red zone and that was the major difference. Another difference in the game was 3rd down conversion.....I don't remember the final stat and can't find it on line yet, but at the end of third qt, NCW was 6-10 and CNU 2-11 on 3rd down.

Those two aspects of the game - fumbles and third down conversions were the main differences. There were others such as Townsend escaping sure sacks to run for a first down - mostly on third down!!! He's extremely athletic.

Good game to watch....CNU never gave up....even with the coach not on the sidelines in the second half

one last note on the game......heard this from a reliable source....Jesse Bradshaw had neck problems this week. Before the game, the doc said he needed about 3 days to get the kink out. Coach K left it up to Bradshaw if he could play....Bradshaw said he could play, but only if he lined up on the left side so he could turn his head to the right to catch the ball....he couldn't turn his head to the left.

10 catches and a CNU record 272 yards later (and 2 TD)......well...you get the picture.
