Wow! Good luck to Coach Ginn. He was a top notch coach and did a great job with a start up program at NCW.

You may get your wish? I understand that Wesley will be in Va. early next season.
I hope that it's a two year commitmnet so I get to see CNU in '09

pretty hard to beleive Ginn would leave for position coaching duties at a D2. Must be money, problems at NCWC or most probably the cubbard is bare.

Or all three

wow...as a monarch fan i can't say i'm disappointed, but that's a tough loss for the conference as a whole...i thought he was a great coach - it is interesting to see him leaving for a position coaching job, even at a powerhouse d2

The NCW homers might be able to fill in the blanks, but I have to wonder what kind of administration support the Bishop football program has. The one "home" game I went to had some of the most barren stands I've ever seen....and this was the week after their very tight and exciting game against Wesley.

If the fan base isn't there, it wouldn't surprise me if the administration backing isn't as well. I wonder how much Ginn just wanted to coach in front of a bigger audience. That would have significantly swayed my decision if I were him. Though this is just speculation.

And I agree with narch, I'm surprised he's going to a position role, especially with all of the D3 HC jobs that had opened up this offseason. Seems like there was plenty of opportunity to be a top-dog in a greener pasture.

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

Boy CNU85 I hope you are right.. Wesley is having a fit trying to schedule. They are trying to reup with Del Val, Widener has already saiod no to extending beyond next year, And St John Fisher and Ithaca both turned Wesley down. They are playing 2 DII's, a IAA. And I understand they only have three home games.

as the commercial says,

Dude!

wesleydad

ryan, all of us know that the toughest game is the first one.  cnu85, i will be in touch with u to hook up for tailgating.  wesley is having trouble finding teams to play, give your guys credit, they are willing to play a tough squad, unlike some of the teams in the north who seem to have run from the chance to play wesley.  see you on the weekend of the 6th.

Well, it all depends on how you look at it. Sure, Wesley will be the toughest terms of skill, the toughest in terms of pressure, the toughest in terms of rankings, but then you've got Ferrum, which will be the toughest in terms of....um....erm...um....hmmmmm  ;)

Probably not.  :)

Yeah, Wesley/CNU will be a good game. I already got the wife's OK to go to it -- so I'll be crashing your tailgate, too, 85!
