Blackbird,
I was surprised to see in your post that NCW was struggling with a run game. Then I noticed that Teron Bush hasn't played. Big whoa! Did I miss something? He's still on the roster, so I assume he's still with the team.

What's the story there?

No need to respond to the above question of mine. I just got my answer: injury.

Ryan, sorry I could not get back to you, I have house guests for a few days. Yes,Teron Bush is injured, but my main concern with the running game was the inability of the offensive line to get any push off the ball. They seemed to make good corrections in this last game. They are young and have good size. I think expereience is in play right now. I look for them to improve each game.

Does CNU play this week? Maybe if there were a few more Saturday tropical storms, and they don't play all season, maybe Ferrum might win the conference. I will say however SU and Greensboro already have my attention.

Is SU that good, or is Bridgewater that bad?

Story I heard was that the BC O-line didn't show up to play - at least in the last game.

CNU goes to #8 Salisbury this week.  They are looking pretty good but I think the key to the game lies in CNU's defense. If they can resurrect some of that swagger that we had when I was there it could be a big win for CNU. 97 hours 13 minutes.............

Ugh....this is killing me. Cancelled game in week 1 and a bye in week 2......then on the road in week 3 an 4........

At least plans have changed at work and I'll be able to see CNU play October 11th - first home game of year!!

85,
I meant to ask you if you were able to catch a game elsewhere last weekend. Did ya end up going anywhere?

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

While we're on this subject for a spell (yes, pun absolutely intended!), I attended a meeting last night where the presenters used PowerPoint.  I was amazed because this presentation had obviously been used many times, yet introduced the District "Manger."  Jesus, if not the District Manager's former elementary school teachers, would be so proud!  :)
