How you know that 85?  ;D That used to drive me nuts. But when the whole section started chiming in it was really funny.

1. I was there
2. He was loud

:D :D

Ferrum vs. CNU             -            Ferrum Seen both and I truly
believe this is going to be close. But
my madness for picking Ferrum is
                                                       "Speed".

That speed won't mean much on a wet field.

Just finished painting the sails on my Cornhole boards, hopefully it wont rain so I can break them out tailgaiting in the morning.  The 2 coolers and 2 grills are packed and ready for some tailgating in the morning and a big win by CNU in the afternoon.

My picks - All the home teams.

Man I haven't said a word all year.  My little bro is trying to break my bad Karma record I think.  Too bad there is only a little football left this year.

Oh yeah.  Go CNU.

I don't remember who keeps whinning about ferrum not getting D3 top 25 votes.  Schedule somebody for crying out loud.  NCWC was the best team you played year to date.  Yes CNU lost to #16 and no I don't think that makes us any better than Ferrum but it shows that we have a set.  And for better or worse that obviously carries weight with the powers that be.  So stop whinning, take a hint and grow a set.

Narch, oh man.  I geuss you would not cling to whooping up on some one, on a message board, about garbage, if your team was worth talking about.  So cling to what ever shred of dignity that you can muster.  Can't play ball but man Methodist must have the best english majors in the conference.

Well I'm done for the year.

Goooo  CNU.

Well that had to be me doing the "whining". As for the lack of difficulty in scheduling, I agree the FC needs to pick up someone that will challenge them. Someone with credibility, and someone that if they get beat, they will actually grow from the experience. I agree, and have said so on the board. As for growing a set, well, I will let that very tactful comment go, but the point you make is sound. Ferrum does need to pick up a HSC, or Wesley, or someone of a higher caliber and let So. VA University go .

Its really hard to focus on the future today. I am dialed into today, and the moment. Knowing that at about 3:45, I will not be able to talk, and I will be leaving Pomoco, either with a smile, and doing alot of highfiving with fellow Ferrum fans, or dissapointed, lamenting maybe next year. Either way,  I can guarantee you that Ferrum will bring a set...and win or lose, CNU will know they have been in a game.
Yeah, I think adult beverages may have been involved.....Hope your head feels better.

Go Panthers!!!!!!!!!!

Now you know that was worth some Karma!!

This will probably be the final post before the game, so I want to say good luck to all those devoted CNU posters. I realize that FC is not the favorite today, but it's that fan spirit that makes this board fun..., and the hope that one's team get to advance. I really believe that Ferrum has a team that could win today, but I am sure most people think otherwise. I just hope that the game is not decided on a bad call by a ref. (Of course only one side of the stadium will think its a bad call)

My car is packed, and I am ready to go...Its 6:15 a.m., so I wont leave just yet, but it won't be too long! I will be there in my Ferrum College shirt, a loud and proud Ferrum fan that has hope that when its over, I will start planning a trip to a playoff game.

Good Luck Today!

This is my first post on this forum.  I'm a former Panther from the old JUCO days and would just love to see a big win today.  Good luck Panthers!

you know, this is one of those football truisms that i've always wondered about...since speed is relative and both teams play on the same field, wouldn't faster players still be faster, even on a wet field?  or is the "wet field" affect exponential, affecting faster players more than slower players?

i was never fast enough to notice the difference, but i sure did like playing on a wet field more...maybe it's because the wet field made me (relatively) faster - i just thought it was because i liked wearing a dirty uniform :)

how long ago?

CNU85

the sun is trying to come out. I guess I should close up my laptop and get out of bed!!! ;D ;D

My one wish for this week.....to watch CNU Hoops game on Friday and a CNU football game the next afternoon.

Time to make that 2.5 mile hike to POMOCO.

cnusfinest54

One thing I know is that when I signed up to come to CNU coach K promised me only a couple of things. "If you come to CNU, I can promise you that you will play in big games, conference championship games, and playoff games". To this years Captains coach K has kept his promise so now its time for you all to keep your end of the deal. Good luck and remember that there is no more important game than the one you are about to play.
