Bob, I'm pretty sure this was addressed on the board earlier but I'm still not clear on it: do ncc's wins over Augie when Augie was not regionally ranked now count into their record versus regionally ranked foes?  That doesn't seem right.

Yes. Otherwise there would hardly be any results vs. ranked teams at all. Regional rankings don't start until February. So if you waited until they were actually ranked none of the games from November to January would ever count.

Regarding the conference tournament: The ADs vote for or against it. Four schools (including IWU and Wheaton) voted against it for several years. But practically all of the coaches wanted the tournament. So the ADs capitulated and the coaches got what they wanted. If you love the CCIW tournament, thank your coach. Any conference that has a tournament must award the automatic NCC tourney bid to the winner.
