Great article about the coach and the fact that a (gasp)D3 school has TWO teams in the Final Four while no Illinois D1 teams even made the tourney. That fact alone would gather interest from the Chicago media in a D3 tournament final.

ONLY in a year in which two D-III teams from the same school in Illinois made the Final Four in a year no D-I team did.

Seriously -- you are way overestimating the amount of coverage that would get. I've worked in newspapers and as an SID for a D-III school in a large city. It just isn't happening.

Awesome game going on between IWU and Cabrini. Cabrinin up 29-27 as John Boyd has hit 7 of 9 3 point attempts in the first 11 minutes of the game. Already has 20 points. Zimmer leads the Titans with 8 points.

Cabrini leads 48-45 at the half. Boyd leads Cabrini with 24 points. shooting 6x9 from downtown. Zimmer leads IWU with 14 points shooting 5x7 from the field, with 4x5 from 3 point range. Victor Davis with 9 points

This game is better than a lot of NCAA D1 games I've watched in the past few days!   Certainly a lot of offense.

Beat me to the post. this game is everything you'd expect from a National semi. Wouldn't be surprised to see this one go into OT. Let's go Titans , win one for the CCIW!
