Who is struggling with the name? I can help them out from press row.

Both announcers on the video broadcast.

IWU was threatening to break open the game, but Cabrini is not shooting FTs for the tie - about 3 and a half to go.

Mr. Ypsi

IWU gets a rebound with 40 seconds left and the score tied but makes a bad pass and turns it over in the Cabrini end, and they score to go up 78-76. Now after a timeout, IWU ties it up on a shot by Rudnicki with 14 seconds  to go. Cabrini comes down after a time out and Jeremy Knowles buries a three with 3 seconds left. IWU inbounds and quickly gets it upcourt and a long three by Gonzales is off the mark. Cabrini wins 81-78. Tough loss for the Titans.

Wow! Great game. With all of the big scoring runs, I was skeptical that it'd go down to the wire ... but it did.

That John Boyd kid had an amazing game for Cabrini.

Congrats to Illinois Wesleyan on a fine March performance.

I'll comment later - for now I'm switching to the Titan women, currently up 18-10, with 6:15 left in the first.

Tough tough loss.  Great game.  Congrats and kudos to Cabrini.  A great team with outstanding shooting, esp. from treyville.  Hard to overcome that kind of shooting night.  Great overall game by the TITANS and my congrats to Coach Rose and all the Titans on an outstanding tourney run.  We are very proud of you all!  Great season.  We appreciate everything . . . all year.

It was a great game and a memorable season.  I wrote this about three hours before the games.  I'm still proud to be a Titan

If the women can pull out this victory, wouldn't it be cool if the fan buses on the way home from Salem stopped in Holland tomorrow? I know its probably impossible, but it would be pretty cool.

Maybe some of the fans could hijack the bus! 8-)

Halftime in Holland - IWU 26, St. Thomas 25.  Ugly game so far (partly due to defense, but two of the better shooting teams in the country are each shooting TWENTY PERCENT from the line - I don't think either has great FT defense)! ::)

Having watched the entire IWU/Cabrini game, they are closely matched, but I think the Titans are a bit better.  John Boyd had 25 points in his first four games; he had 34 tonight - that was absolutely the killer.
