Is it just me, or are D-3 Watcher and AndOne getting along........and agreeing?  Maybe there is hope in the Middle East after all!

Our dog and cat already do - though each hates every other cat or dog in the universe! ;D

Good luck to my Titans this weekend at the Shirk.  I'm headed to Macau (not for gambling!), but to conduct a simulation with students at several Macau universities on the South China Sea disputes.  Should be fun.  (Talk about "cats and dogs" not getting along).   I'll try to sneak out during the negotiations to check on the scores from The Shirk, but sadly will not be watching much, not commenting much.  I'll leave it all to you fine ladies and gentlemen.

GO TITANS!

In the category of too much information (from the NCC program Tuesday night):

1) NCC is 14-3 in night games and 7-0 in day games. And since the NCC-Wheaton game tomorrow starts at 5, I guess Todd Raridon is elated (until the sun sets in the 2nd half).

2) NCC is 1-0 in games where the turnovers are even. You can impress someone (I have no idea who) with this fact if you casually mention it in idle conversation tomorrow during halftime or between games.

3) NCC is 0-0 on games not played on Monday and Thursday. Really?

4) NCC is 2-0 in Friday games and 12-1 on Saturdays.

5) NCC is only 7-3 in road games and 2-0 on neutral courts.

Using this wealth of useless information, predictions can be made. Considering the day/night and the Friday/Saturday prior stats, NCC should dominate the 1st half against Wheaton and will prevail to remain undefeated on Friday playing on a neutral court. However, since 100% of their losses have occurred at night, Saturday's 7:30 tipoff game is problematic. Since their road (if their opponent is IWU) winning percentage is only 70% and their winning percentage at Shirk is 0%, a loss Saturday seems probable.  http://www.d3boards.com/Smileys/classic/tongue.gif

How do you get the smiley faces icon to register on posts? I tried the one with tongue sticking out and obviously failed.

No need to copy and paste the link -- just click on the icon, like with the other icons in the toolbar.

Too funny-here's a quote I borrowed from HS Coach:

The games are at 5:00pm/7:00pm tonight at the Shirk Center.  With all the 5:00/7:00 doubleheaders I've watched online this year, I've yet to see the later game start before 7:20pm.

Good stuff... thanks for doing this again.

You're becoming D3hoops' Nate Silver  :)

Q- Does this list include what you might be predicting in conference tournaments?  I'm wondering about NCC being above Wheaton (since Wheaton is currently ahead in the regional rankings)......are you projecting that NCC will beat Wheaton tonight?  Or, can the national committee take a lower regionally ranked team ahead of a higher ranked team?

petemcb

I know this has been covered on this board but I don't remember how many pages (or dozens of pages) ago it was:  what is the timeline for the rounds leading up to Salem this year?  Is it one game per week, on Saturday nights, or are there also games on Fridays?
