That is correct but it was on the men's scoreboard just a few minutes ago.

I guess Carthage might have something to say about the playoff race after all.

Carthage 88 at #13 Augustana 52.  Don't think anyone saw that one coming.

I'm pretty sure that was the women's game

Sorry -- as much as I have been trying to delete that score update all night, it keeps coming back. Hopefully it's been nipped in the bud now.

Wow, great start in CCIW play for the Titans, with 16 treys on 55% shooting from downtown.

Vic Davis starting out strong with a double double, 18 and 11.

Go Titans.

I know this one isn't a women's score.  Wheaton up by an 89-84 score  and going to the line with 19 seconds left in OT.  Looks like this one is over. Nice effort by the Big Blue.

It's a final now Wheaton wins 92-84

Wheaton 92
Millikin 84 (OT)

Tyler Peters made some amazing plays down the stretch in this game.  The biggest was a 27-foot 3-pointer with Wheaton down 3 in the final minute of regulation to tie the game.  He is just a great player.

TP had 2 points at halftime and finished with 29. A great performance by him. Good luck to the rest of the conference playing at the Griz. That won't be an easy win for anybody. Nadelhofer has those guys playing loose and fast.

As an aside the commentators for Millikin on the video feed have a chance to be decent if they just balance out their comments. They are such extreme homers on the call that it becomes hard to listen to after a while.

I was worried about starting conference play at Millikin after WashU.  Wheaton has had trouble on the road and has not closed out close games well.  Nice win for the Thunder.  Hopefully gives them confidence moving into the rest of the season.

Kudos to Millikin.  They will be a load in the rest of this season and in the next few years.

The play-by-play guy, Scott Busboom, is such a homer that even a neutral fan can't listen to him.

In their favor, they did an excellent job of telling the time and score regularly.  All too many don't.

No doubt, that was one of many positives. And their description of the game is decent and easy to follow. But holy smokes were they homers. They referenced Wheaton players being "coached to whine at the officials" but when their Coach or players were complaining to officials they were "letting the refs hear about it".

Nice game for Michael Berg.  13 points and 7 boards.  Hopefully a trend.  He has been playing well.  Keep it up berg!
